Cool Collaboration Tool!

Man those are fun!
I use googledocs and we've had as many as five people all on one doc simultaneously, at which point the server starts throwing people off. We tend to use the comment ribbons as an ad-hoc chat. so useful!

If one of these services would include a chat window..... nirvana for the co authors.

One thing I don't see yet is a statement on the privacy of your documents. google has one-- more or less. I'm using googledocs instead of any owther Wp I have, actually.

Adobe has a new, really cool word processor collaboration tool!

No more lost formatting, not being able to open each other's documents, etc.

Pretty nifty! :cathappy:

It's nice and clean, privacy considerations aside. Importing Word docs (stories) and hosting them on the server gives added security for files in case of disk failure.

ETA: The TOS restricts what can be hosted (for porn writers, read half way down). Use 'Preferences' to restrict access to YOUR content - without testing, I'm not sure if you can invite individuals to view content but presume this must be so.
