Finding someone to talk to, that you can click with and carry on with for some time can be a very difficult and frustrating task. It is easy to just throw in the towel and forget it. But remember there is someone, or many other people that are looking for the same thing. We have to keep shifting through the haystack and keep on. Don't give up, don't let the frustration take control. Just keep going.

I agree. For me, while it's not hard to have a conversation with someone here (and I've had many), it's really difficult for me to talk with someone, let my guard down, and be totally casual. And there's only been a few on Lit where I've been able to do that with. Primarily because I've known them for quite some time. Otherwise I'm always parsing my words, careful not to imply things, or reveal much about myself. It's just the way I am and I'm not changing anytime soon. I admire others who can be open about themselves with just about anyone. There are a lot of Litsers I respect that will drop details about themselves and their lives without a seeming care. Someday I'd like to get to that point in my mindset where I could do the same, but I don't think it'll happen.

Just a long way of saying that I agree with your posting LOL

It is something many people struggle with. It is hard to share things about yourself to someone you don't really know. It takes a connection to open up and to have someone open up to you. It can be difficult and frustrating, but don't quit :)

Good day to you Lit world. It is a strange thing when you cannot find the right words and it can be very frustrating. We search and get it into our heads that we just can't do it. These thing happen though and we need to fight through them. Do not let self doubt take control, close your eyes, clear your mind and be you. Just say what you feel or ask the questions you want. Be real, be true, be you.

Some days are just rough, that is just the way it goes. On these days we must remember that things do get better and things are not always the way they are at that moment. We seem to search for someone more on these days, look for someone to help lift our spirits again.
We must remember these days, must remember that others have them as well. We need to show a bit of kindness. A simple smile or holding the door open for someone may be just the thing to make someone having one of these days brighten up just a little bit.
