Conversation

"There are two basic motivating forces: fear and love. When we are afraid, we pull back from life. When we are in love, we open to all that life has to offer with passion, excitement, and acceptance. We need to learn to love ourselves first, in all our glory and our imperfections. If we cannot love ourselves, we cannot fully open to our ability to love others or our potential to create. Evolution and all hopes for a better world rest in the fearlessness and open-hearted vision of people who embrace life.”
― John Lennon

Be kind, be respectful, be polite. Very simple things, but so easy to forget to do. We get so busy and so occupied that we forget to think of others as we move through our daily lives. There is so much hustle and bustle that we forget to take some time to just relax and take in a breath of fresh air. We need to slow down, take it easy for ourselves and others. Take some time to breath, then share some kindness with someone, then two people feel better and it will spread.

Good thread. I seem scatterbrained most of the time, but I love a deep, intelligent conversation. Not sure if it is the nature of this beast...seems like everything is fleeting. Sorry, I ramble

It is rarely easy to strike up a conversation with someone new, but it is worth the try. Be sure to be respectful and give a little about yourself or what made you want to talk. Let them know something so they have something to respond to. I know that many messages go without a response, but don't let that hold you back from trying. We can't make new friends if we don't try after all.

Be kind, be helpful, show some support. Simple things we can do to help another make it through another day. There is such a simplicity in showing kindness to another that it is amazing how much good it can do. If we spread the kindness everything becomes a little better. Share a smile today.

I have these conversations with myself, and I probably should be committed, truth be told

Haha! The one's you have with yourself can be the most interesting. It is worse if you have them out loud and change your tone and voice for each response......
