There were numerous, unconfirmed threads about her suicide. I don't know if anyone really knows for sure.

why? did she do it again? last i knew she was blessedbe and then someone claimed she changed names again and that's the last i heard because i stopped caring.

I've never heard of the "my son is dead posts" - I doubt I would have believed that.

That was a poster known as enigma alone. His toddler son drowned while in the care of his ex-wife. The board being as skeptical as it is (with good reason), no one believed him and some of the more blood thirsty high rollers tried to call him out...

Due to their relentless pursuit he was forced to post newspaper articles and obituaries with real names, etc. and was eventually vindicated... It was truly sad

But this is where it really gets good...

Myself and a few others, specifically Desiqn, believed and befriended him. This in turn set off an entire chain of events that set Lit on it's proverbial "ear" for months to come.

You see it was because of BB's attitude towrds Desiqn befriending enigma that eventually she called his bluff and outed the whole Guileful/Marximus/BB/MWG fiasco!

His kid just died, he came to a place, a community that he thought he was part of, tried to talk it out but was attacked again and again with accusations of false witness...

Lashed out like the trapped rat he was...

Just want to add that depending on the Litster it may have been met with more sympathy...

I sorta remember that crap. Seemed rather odd how a guy would be a total dick to others for a couple weeks, befriend the likes of you and Desi and then his child suddenly dies and Desi was right up there to defend him and lash out at the non-believers since she once lost a child (to death, not like, inside her house or anything).

Seemed so contrived.... so unreal how a man would actually plant his ass in a porn forum and jump into the "community" right before and then after the death of his child believing that he'd connected with others and you and Desiqn. So he was attacked by others for being a fraud. Heaven forbid the paranoia and intelligence of the average internet forum user on that one.

That was the whole point. He was in the middle of a longish thread about some damn thing--I don't recall anything about it except that he was on the defensive a lot--when he popped in to say that his son had died. It was so out of the blue, and people were so skeptical that he'd be on Lit right after this happened, that there was a lot of understandable disbelief.

But yeah, he was controversial for other reasons too. The dead son thing wasn't the only reason Bob B. started the thread attacking him that set off the chain reaction from hell, but it contributed.

They don't make controversies like that anymore...sigh.

I don't recall but I don't think neither Desi or I were friends or even cross posters with him before his child's drowning... You see? He was attacked but he wasn't a fraud, wasn't contrived...

I'm not faulting others here for disbelief... Just the extremes they took their hatred to... MWG was at her basest on this one. Other posters come to mind as well...

And I have no idea how enigma is doing but I wish him the best... It's not easy dealing with the death of a child...
