Hi
I was reading about the recent contest rules about Naked day or something like that and as a new subscriber here I'm not sure where to find the "regular" rules they allude to in their post. Where do I find the "normal" monthly contest rules (that apply to this contest as well)?
Thanks for your patience - I'm sure I'm just not looking in the right area...

The monthly contests no longer exist. I'm not sure I ever read those rules. I think if you follow the Nude Day contest rules, you're good. But someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Welcome to the dysfunctional family!

You may also find it helpful to look at the 'help' threads, for example THIS ONE which is for the Nude Day.
However, please be advised that there's a troll. :(
Make sure you get the real thing :)

Dear sweetleaf,

As it happens there are currently 2 contests in play - the first is LITEROTICA'S NUDE DAY Contest, now in its 13th year. To be quite honest the rules of the contest aren't particularly clear. First off they are supposedly based on a contest which hasn't existed for over 2 years (the monthly contests). Secondly the rules are quite fluid, they change depending on what whim has floated through the PALACE and by the QUEEN that day.

But whatever rules do happen to be in play don't really matter that much because ultimately the contests are invariably decided by LAUREL through her process of throwing out high votes on stories by authors she doesn't like and transferring said votes to the stories of people who have slavishly supported her.

There is a second contest currently running. A contest with clear rules (see below) and a transparent voting and result system.

I invite you to join this contest (and why not join both - 2 for the price of one). We welcome everyone....

carpooling with the neighbor...

You can begin submitting your stories starting June 15th
The winners will be announced on or around July 20th

You can discuss this special contest on this thread or on the literotica one.

RULES (for the A.I.R. CUCKOLD contest):

- All submissions must be stand-alone stories created for this contest theme. We will not accept individual chapters of a larger work submitted separately.

- Nor will stories featuring characters, locales, plot lines, etc., that have been previously used by the author be accepted.

- Prizes will be awarded in the following categories (a story can only win one prize in each contest):

1) Best Overall Story
2) Most Views
3) Most Comments
4) Most Votes
5) Highest Score

- A story has to accrue a minimum of 250 votes to be eligible (higher in some categories). The vote, comment, view, favorite, and score numbers that are reported by LITEROTICA will be used subject to final verification by the A.I.R. Computer Center.

- Story must have a Cuckold theme. Stories don’t have to be submitted in the Loving Wives category but all stories must involve a married couple in which the wife gets fucked by someone besides her husband. Can be consensual or otherwise… Can involve a family member… Can involve an interracial coupling … Can even involve lesbians in countries and US states where gay marriages are allowed. But ultimately every married vagina must be penetrated by a cock that doesn’t belong to her husband.

The husband may be in the dark about the affair … or an unwilling witness forced to watch … or even a willing cuck who laps up the interlopers sperm from his wife’s cunt. It’s totally up to you!

- It must be erotic in content.

- Non-Humans are not erotic and NH category stories will not be accepted. Nor will Sci Fi ones be accepted.

- No character may be named Pauletta.

- Don’t just submit some rehashed story you’ve been working on for years. We want something fresh. Be creative!

- A.I.R. reserves the right to disqualify without notice or explanation any story in which any kind of cheating or vote-tampering is suspected.

- Every story that meets the above criteria and is submitted to LITEROTICA during the contest period will be automatically entered into the A.I.R. contest. No special submission form must be filled out. We believe in inclusivity!

- If you have any questions regarding any of the above or anything pertaining to our contests, feel free to contact me by PM or email, or post any questions you have on this thread.

Good Luck!!!

^^^^^

That is the troll HP warned you about! That competition is notoriously fake.

Good luck with Nude Day! If you think I can review your story on my blog (it has to be safe sex), let me know.
:)

Thanks all!
Naoko - what do you mean exactly by safe sex? consenting adults must wear condoms? Pardon my ignorance of the do's and don'ts on this website...

She means that she will only review those stories where the couple, couples, groups, use condoms during sex. That's just for her to review in her blog.

Literotica does not require all stories contain safe sex practices but, in some categories you will be flames by trolls if they don't.

Really? I've read a few stories now and I have not seen 1 mention of anyone using condoms. I've never heard of that, but then again I'm a newbie... ;)
Thanks for your answer though.

There are no rules for using condoms on Lit but Naoko does an off site blog on safe sex stories. So if you do use safe sex practices, she would like to know as she is currently doing reviews of such stories for the nude day contest on her blog.

I hope that clears up the confusion.
