Congratulations to lovecraft68

Impressive. Of course, as I recall he was in third place previously until a young prolific upstart nudged him out.

Congratulations

Who are the other top people on that list? I assume it is posted somewhere in the dark neither regions of the site.

Thanks, but Simon is right, this is a reclaiming I guess.
I like heyall's little dig about passing a dormant author, but that's how it usually happens, someone stops or slows down while someone else keeps going. That's how heyall passed both myself and TTT after all. šŸ˜œ

This is most likely where I max out, although not dormant a couple stories a year is what I've averaged the last five or six years. In 2021 I posted two stories here, but 17 e-books for sale. That's been my pattern.

Honestly I'm competitive enough that if I thought there was a semi reasonable chance I could get to be #1 I'd try, but seeing #1 has more favorites than me and HA combined...that's not happening.

To me this is an odd metric.

I read all the time, but never favorite a story, instead I just follow the author.

Congrats btw! You are obviously doing something right

It would truly take a Herculean effort to pass SSL. I don't think even HeyAll is up to the task, but he may try. I was moving up the list for a while but I've stalled out, position-wise, because I don't write enough. What I've noticed is that those near the top of the toplists get more favorites and followers and views in part because of greater visibility--it's crazy how many views some of the old stories near the top still get--but if you are buried farther down the list like me there's no visibility boost. SSL so far surpasses everyone else in combined productivity/exposure (and, of course, people just really like her stories--that's the most important thing) that she's putting distance between herself and the rest of us.

This thread's about most followed authors, not most favorited stories

SSL is the perfect storm, first off she's a far better writer than her silly ass porno titles would lead you to believe. She'd pretty prolific.

If this next part offends anyone, its not meant to, its just the truth. It shows the difference when an author is a woman showing off her legs and writing a lot of mommy milf lesbian stuff to get people thinking....does she do it? Its part of the success, trust me, that's why there's so many men writing as women in the market.

She also really pushes herself on social media, something I don't do-for here-because if you're trying to sell, its not in your best interest to say "here's a link to a free site with tens of thousands of stories in every kink there is"

As for the top lists, top authors and the top stories-now that the list is back-get steady attention from being there. What I find interesting is how over the years a lot of authors who were top ten when I had just made the list are dropping further down over time because they no longer write, or not here.

When I started, Scouries(yeah, that guy) Selena Kitt, Manyfeathers and Alwayswanted to were in the top four and swapping spots. Now always is gone, and the others haven't added stories in years. Same for Ahabscribe. TTT has a long way to go to slip further seeing the next person is 6k+ behind...but Nikki2021 is really moving her way up, few more years she could be top 5 or even 3.

I openly admit to being petty at times, and I won't lie, over the years passing certain people has felt damn good. I'm sure someday some will feel that way when I'm no longer here and they can get past me.

Congratulations!

It seems that Incest is a good way to go to be loved.

(and yes, feel free to quote that out of context).
