Confirming Myself

Hello all...
I'm the kind of person who, once I've taken an interest in something, loves to learn all that I can about a particular topic.
For most of my sexual adult-hood, I have not enjoyed being the sexual aggressor. And in more recent years, I've tinkered off and on with the thought of being a submissive, at least sexually.
So as this thought has popped into my mind more and more, I decided it was time to learn...Really learn. *As I'm sure you are aware there are so many pre-conceived ideas about the lifestyle*
I've talked to people; I've read things online and most recently even gone so far as to purchase some books. *insert GEEK joke here* I’ve also, of course, read lots and lots of stories on Lit.
I’m posting what I’ve learned as a sort of self expression or confirmation if you will, so I’ve learned:
• There are varying degrees to the lifestyle and that, as in all things in life; no one or two people approach it the same way: I definitely lean toward the loving dom.
• That this is what I want for me, it fits, it’s a relief as I finally feel like I’ve “found” something that makes sense
• While in the beginning it may be an easing in process, online, in person or what have you, I dream of the day that I find my Master for life
• That I will daily obey what my Master says and I will be happy in doing so
• If/when the day comes for 24/7, I will gladly surrender myself and it will be right, good, safe, and loving. That it will be a release for my soul to be able to surrender and not carry the weight of my world on my shoulders.
I want to make sure that I say thank you to you Master…you know who you are and I feel as though you will read this…you are helping me learn, to surrender, to trust, and to obey…You have my unfaltering dedication…
