Hi,
I really need help with my computer. The problem is say I am talking to someone on IM if I move the screen around it will move but it will also stay put so I could have a hole computer screen with this one IM. Same with any other program I run. I just got spy hunter and that didn't help much with it. Does anyone know about this? Thank you so much

Hi, CherryPop...:)

If you look in the upper right side of the screen there are three symbols. Click on the center square and that should reduce your screen back down to normal size... :D

oh no im sorry that is not what I meant. I am having a hard time explaining this. Ok I am chatting with someone and I want to move there IM screen I click and drag it over to where I want it. It comes but also stays were it was but i can't get rid of the original one

is that any better?

What Instant Messenger do you use? Aol, Yahoo, MSN?

AIM and Yahoo but that was just a for instance it happens with every program i use sooner or later and all at the same time with other programs i have up at the time

your refresh rate

your refresh rate is too slow.

look in google on how to change your refresh rate

Its not repainting the window behind it. I have seen this problem before but don't know of a simple fix-all solution. You can try hitting the "Show Desktop" icon on the taskbar and see if it refills the hole. Other than that, it would be useful to know what IM prg your are using.

Looks to me like JoseIsWild is right on this. Sounds like it's not repainting the window to me, too. Perhaps too many other applications are running? That's usually when I have this problem.

I have changed my refresh rate so i hope that helps thank you so much everyone for your advice this is the longest it my computer has gone without doing that. i hope it goes away now
