Computer decor? What do you have taped/glued/stuck to your monitor?

I have pix of the kid and his buds, a couple of pix of old lovers, and a lizard sticker.

What do y'all do to show your individuality to people who walk past your desk?

(Yes, Lost Cause, this one is for you too!)

Three sand animals (small sandbags in the shape of animals), a spider, a lizard, and a frog, given to me by students range across the top.

A couple of Far Side cartoons taped along the sides, one dealing with evolution the other with the universe.

Small pics of my big girl and little boy taped near the bottom.

A stuffed cow the StudMuffin picked up just cause he loved me sits on top. I have index cards with thick black letters along the bottom:

"Show, don't tell."
"You cannot transcend that which you do not know."
"You are a genius."
"Comma splices are bad. Semi-colons are good."
"Separate. Desperate."

And a sticky with someone's phone number. I don't know who it belongs to cause it's old and not labeled.

I'm sure any individuality I possess is thoroughly exemplified by all the clutter and junk that decorates my computer and the surrounding spaces.

Nothing. I got all the crap piled up next to my monitor.

Nothing, but the occaisional post it. You'd think I'd have it all decked out, but I don't. Huh.

The only thing I currently have on my comp is a lizard thing that sticks on the corner of my comp. My mom got it for me for Christmas. She also got me a lizard mouse holder that sticks to the side, but it keep falling off.

A stuffed puppy, a letter hanging from my paper holder (not telling who it is from). Ummm.. a couple of beanies and a pride sticker!

I have a Pikachu and a Charmander from Pokemon.

Silly but I am a Pokemon fan. They are cute.

Nothing stuck to it. I have 4 of the Spongebob Squarepants characters on top. I think they are stamps but I like em. I have a Brenden Shanahan bobble-head. A small stuffed kangaroo from a girlfriend in Perth, Austrailia.

I have a little tigger with a cowboy hat , a stuffed taco bell dog that sings when you squeeze his tummy, a Sonic the hedge hog stuffed toy and a pink beeine flamingo on top of my monitor.
Then I have a little magnet which has some very sweet words & a drawing of a teddy bear ... some one gave me.

Last but not least Spidey reigns over my computer as well.

Depends on which monitor you are talking about.

The one I use while here at Lit, has on the Left side, and ascii code chart, so I can use all those cool "spanish" accented letters for emails and chats with my family. And on the right side, is taped a phone number of someone very special to me.

Even if I don't see or talk to her, she's with me everyday, because I see this note on my monitor.

I should point out, that I use my laptop to access Lit, so this monitor is attached to my docking station.

on and around my computer i have (mind you this is at home in my bed room) a vacume, south park dolls, pokemon, cd's posti stickers and drawings. oh and a singing eeyor doll.

now when I get a job....
i'll have on my personal space, some of my art, some dolls a plant to kill. and pics of my neice and nephews.

a Valentine's Day card from my MIL with $50 check inside

an empty check box with the phone numbers of all my online friends written on the bottom

There is alot more stuff on my desk, like mail and my snowball collection, but that's it for on my puter.

From left to right as I sit here ........ a pokemon ball that had candy inside it once......a glass paper weight that catch's the light sometimes and cast's a beautiful blue light.......an R2-D2 clock that run's fast and it's a digital one too .

but my desk is covered in crap...includine TV/VCR remote, screwdriver, old mouse, a dictionary, a thesaurus, CD's, tapes, a 1941 and a 1956 three penny bit, a microphone, a microphone and headphone set, packs of new batteries, two set's of ear phones, a walkman, two watches, a micro radio I bought for £1 and another I bought as a spare (it works great but since it only cost £1 I bought two), a small tub of Vick's Vapo Rub, a train time table, a harmonica, two nail files, pens, photos, lottery tickets and lastly a new power puff girls mouse mat..........thats all

Absolutely nothing. I don't like shit stuck to my monitor and it barely fits in the space in my desk so there is nothing on top of it. Now, my desk is another matter all together. I have my life on this desk. There are pics of my kids, candles, lots of books on Aromatherpy, papers galore, all with something that was important when I wrote it down but for the life of me I have no idea what its for, but I can't possibly throw it away. I may need it! I have one drawer up here on top of the desk and it carries everything from nail files to glue, from batteries to matches. All sorts of goodies!

Actually stuck to my monitor is only one thing. Top center is a yellow diamond sticker (rememiscient of a road sign) that says "LASER JOCK" in big bold letters with the Coherent logo just beneath.

Sitting on top of my monitor is my headphones with microphone, and a plush Green Bay Packers football that plays the fight song when slammed on the desk. My desk itself looks as though a hurricane just blew through with bills, and phone numbers, notes, a calendar with coffee and coke stains.

I've got absolutely nothing stuck on my monitor. I used to have crescent moons and stars but the kids decided they made great facial "tattoos".

I have the bottom half 'painted' with all different shades of blue and purple sparkly nail polish. There are assorted stickers all over it, as well. My 3 year old and year old love to decorate it.

I have a few decals I made at work on the sides, on top the webcam they a little Beaded toy she made for me........A car keyring my Father gave me right before he died....his was loosing it a little so I hold it close to my heart.....And last but not least...............A Rolling Rock beer opener.......They old kind that attach to the wall.....waiting to be mounted to my desk......(like a true drunk).........
