Collaboration Request !!

Hi Authors !!

I am looking for an author - preferably female, preferably Indian or Indian-origin - to collaborate with me on a female POV Loving Wife story. The story will appear in your name. I'll expect no commissions whatsoever, and will give all the details free of charge, needless to add.

Full disclosure - this is a story from my own life which I think would be suitable to fictionalize in a forum such as Lit, and involves my wife and me. I understand that there are many here who insist on consent from the lady before writing a story on behalf. I respect that.

But although I cannot provide that consent, I think the story is worth writing because it's more than about just sex. I would say it's about unselfishness and empathy in a marriage.

As I mentioned above, I think an Indian female writer will do justice to the story best of all, because of unavoidable cultural factors. But I also think any female writer - of whatever nationality - would enjoy writing this, since it will be from a female POV.

I've given it a shot, and tested one version out with a couple of other writers on Lit. Both were emphatic that the female POV did not come through well.

Clearly I'm not a good enough writer, and I need to come to terms with that, and give a woman freedom to express it, so that I get to understand better how women feel.

But isn't that, in a sense, exactly what Loving Wives stories - the best of them - are all about?

If you like, you can do it under an alt. A lot of people seem to use those as developmental aids to test out new experiments without impacting their submissions. Post up a female-POV story, solicit comments from The Masses, make sure voting is turned on, and commence improving.
