Cold weather? Hah!

I recently learned that if I'm cold enough my stutter comes back. And I don't mean teeth chattering type stutter. I mean, speaking normally until I try to say two T words back to back, resulting in me laughing uncontrollably because I worked so hard to get over the fucking stutter.

This winter has been fairly gnarly so far. Lots of snow, lots of cold. I don't mind it, yet. This time of year I like the winter. Things get quiet, people retreat indoors, and I can walk my dogs in the early evening when it's growing dark and not see another soul, though I live in a densely-populated area. It's peaceful.

Generally by mid-February/early March, though, I'm over it. Over the dark, the cold, the having to bundle up and boot up every time I step outside. And the harder the winter, the longer it feels. So while I'm still enjoying it I'm anticipating this one feeling quite long.
