grind your own, in the can, almond, hazelnut, swiss chocolate, irish cream, cinnamon, nawww give me straight Columbian!

Italian roast, ground right before I brew it, percolating at 180 degrees, locally roasted. Nothing else will do.

Climb high into the mountains.....

Plucking the succulent beans from the bush. Backpacking them down, baking them over an open fire, grinding them between two rocks. GAG!

My grinder makes a mess on the counter. I'm addicted to trying new coffees. I ususally scour TJ Maxx for weird brands. I recently bought Kona Joes brand, 1/2 a pound for 9 bucks, it said compare to $25, and I was thinking"bullshit". So I went on the website, and what do you know, Kona Joe's - a goddamn fortune. One of their coffees is $125 a pound. Are they crazy? I made it in my quite excellent coffee maker ( cuisineart) and it IS good, but it's not 15 times better than the best coffee I ever had.

Why did that post twice? Did I submit it twice? I need a cup of coffee...

Mmm...

A mix of Colombian Supremo... and Death By Chocolate, from the Fresh Market. Oh, but it is SOOO good!

OMG I would die without Starbucks.

Venti Caramel Frappacinno with two shots of expresso every morning and again in the afternoon.

I love starbucks! And, at home, I tend to grind my own and make either exresso or capuccino - but I don't do that much anymore - I usually avoid caffeine... but every now and then...

And to think - my motto used to be... "A day without coffee is like a day without caffeine."

uhhh.. coffee? try making coffee with caffeinated water. makes for a great study night. *smirk*

i like... coffee... whatever kind. black with sugar. maybe a lil' milk to cool it off.

though i do prefer tea.

AND I'M NOT BRITISH!!! *what a shock*

100% pure Hawaiian Kona

from Smith Farms in Hawaii.. Roasted on Monday, arrives on my doorstep by Thursday.. Ground just before brewing, in an old Cory vacuum pot.. a little cream, a little sugar... The closest thing to heaven I can find!

Well I am British and it has to be tea, I can't drink coffee, I tried for 30 years and couldn't get used to the stuff, give me tea :D

Hey! You need to take your hot-beverage-drinking more serious! It's the little things in life.

Folgers supreme, the only way for me. :)

Im not a big coffee drinker anymore.

Anyone ever have cinnamon sprinkled on the grounds of regular coffee before brewing?
Mmmmmmmmmm - great after dinner drink and much cheaper than the gormet brands.

You people talk about coffee in the same way we used to discuss pot!

Hot, black Gunny-thick Marine Corps coffee. The cheaper the better. I drink it by the pot. And I am hyper-active. Is there a link? I will think about it. I have plenty of time. I cannot sleep for more than two hours at a time.

My favorite coffees of all time have been a pumpkin pie flavored coffee (I know it sounds gross but it was tres delicioso) and tiramisu.

Barnie's??

I prefer Sumatran or something called Cool Cafe Blues.

Coffee

Child of the tropic sun, my hot,
Dark, Colombian darling. Light
Of my life. I'd friends. They say I went to pot--
You made me shake and keep me up at night--
But do I care? Of course not! My heart pounds
(The last of you lingers) as I smell the heady,
Delicious scent of those delightful mounds
Of grounds . . . soft gurgling sounds . . . at last, you're ready.
"You taste so good," I whisper. You don't answer,
My coy dear. Together, silently,
My darling, we commune; our bittersweet romance
Is something they don't understand. You see,
You wait for me each morning in the kitchen.

Babe, you're bitchen

Love a good cup of coffee, but

I'm to lazy for all that grind your own stuff and I'm far enough out in the country that "coffee shop" is not an option.

Drinking my Maxwell house now, though I sometimes spring for one of the cofffees from Dunkin Dounuts coffee beans. They've got some pretty good coffees without a huge expense.
