In Florida we call our basements, POOLS. Just cover with a big blue tarp held down with old tires.

and yeah, AJ - it's been very springish here as well. i've rediscovered the brick path out front and cut back loads of burgeoning vegetation taking over the garden. the back, though ... gonna need more time for that baby.

i've a clear spot out front since cutting back a shrub to half its width - thinking of a decent sized bleeding heart for there. i've always wanted one but never had one.
