Cloud 9

I've tried writing and it always turned out really silly.

best thing you can do is read as much as possible and see what you like, the different styles and then work off that. You'll quickly develop your own style.

Writing isn't too hard, it's the creativity that can be the killer.

I need to stop comparing them to all the excellent ones that I read here.

I just want to know your answers to the questions that you guys asked me.

A bad day at the beach is better than any day at work.
Love movies but books only when on holidays. Stephen King is my pick.
I love cooking, especially eastern foods. Indian, Thai, Malaysian. Spanish and Mexican are good too.

Things I love:

artistic form: a female body, a ferrari, mountains, trees anything with natural beauty in its form.

food: anything asian (I spent 10 years in hong kong in my youth, so I grew up on it), Indian, Italian, Spanish, French

Books: Sci-fi was my first love, fantasy second. I devoured sci-fi way back when it was in it's golden age

Music: classical (mainly), Eagles, Led Zepplin, Stones etc, very eclectic

what do u call the golden age of sci-fi

stuff written in the 70's to the 90's generally, most subjects have been explored in those years, although there is the occasionally good one that pops up now and again, but I can't get my heart into it much anymore.

Fortunately I saved a lot of my old novels, so I can re-read them when I get time.

You might have noticed my rock music doesn't extend too much past the 80's either, same reason really.

I listen to stuff these days and I can hear where it came from like 30 years ago when it was done originally by someone different.
