so therefore.... since its not started it seems... here we go.

That's me! Aww, thank you!

Will be back...

I'm going to have to post what I received from Agent Provacateur. I'm not sure I'm crazy about it.

I'd share images, but all my favorite stuff is vintage, which means throwing it on the French Dress Form, doing photography, editing, *then* posting... I'm feeling waaaaay to lazy today to do that, today. ;)

My swimsuit is a bright blue vintage Catalina one piece (malliot) from the 1959/60 season (think classic pin up girl). It zips up the back, and has a built in girdle (ohhhh how swimwear has changed...).

Favorite nightgown is a lilac chiffon floor length gown by Miss Elaine (late 60s/early 70s), with a ribbon tie waist and free flowing back, and double ruffle of lace at the bottom (21 foot circumference at the hem).

Favorite peignoir set is a mid 1960s mauve set my Luci Anne- the gown has a lace Empire waist bodice with double spaghetti straps; the remainder of the gown is acordian perma-pleated (sunburst pattern) with a heavy lace hem (circumference at the hem is 23-ish feet). The matching peignoir is sleeveless with bows over each shoulder, sunburt/acordian pleated to the floor, trimmed in matching lace, and has a 25-ish foot circumference at the hem.

Then there are the lounge around slips (mostly from the late 50s), the nice slips (my favorite is a rayon navy one from WW II), and the camisoles reworked from damaged 1920s - 1930s nightgowns...

:D

My coolest regular wardrobe aquisition is a late 40s/early 50s hand painted Mexican circle skirt.

I'm wearing blue walmart shorts made by busy hands in some third world pisshole. No underwear. And a yellow and white Ivy crew shirt.

OMG!

Today I'm wearing Jacqueline Smith pants that I bought at K'mart something like seven years ago. The fabric is easy to wash and wear, cat hair mostly doesn't stick to it. I paired it with a Kathy Ireland top bought about the same time frame. Believe it or not, it looks damn good and professional on me.

:D

I'm looking forward to the return of higher waisted or at least normal waisted pants.

Cutie Mouse,

Your stuff sounds fab! :rose:

Fury :rose:

Perhaps you might also find something nice in this thread . There are a couple of others to do with clothing and accessories, just don't have the time to look right now.
