Put your original post on the Personals board. I didn't see anything inherently wrong with it besides being in the wrong place. If someone is interested, you'll get replies there.

Litsters in the PG are going to tease over that minor error, pretty much EVERY time. I don't think anyone here was being mean. Joke around with them and you'll see most are pretty good people.
