@Surferdude1891 - let me know if you do want the thread deleted. I have the power, lol. I do read it as playful, and I do think you should post your original OP in the Personals board. But, like others have suggested, you’ll likely meet more people just playing around here in the Playground. (Also, though, I would imagine several people who’ve posted in your thread would comment on your new Personal ad which would keep it bumped to page 1, at least at first).

I am normally a pro-active person and would go out of my way to meet another persons needs and desires. However, this is just too much of a challenge. Firstly, I need to find somebody to marry so that I would have a husband to cheat on, then I have to move, and convince my new husband to move to VA or the 619 area and I don’t even have a clue where they are. On top of all that, we would have to connect. What if we don’t? I am stuck with a husband I want to cheat on, in a place that I never knew existed. Even if we do connect, my mental health is going to be totally fucked and you will probably spend all your time trying to put me back together. I will become a burden and you will leave me for another mistress. This is all too much, I can feel my heart palpitating already!

I like parties involved on both sides of the issue here but hate to see every other thread turn into this. Bullying? Come on. We know these players. Amber might be the nicest person on the board. She happens to be funny as hell. Why raise this?

The ability to laugh at yourself is a very desirable quality, imo. Amber possesses it in spades. The last guy (Grant) that placed his personal ad here and got grief for it wound up with an inbox full of boobs and butts. I think he's plotting right now how to screw up again.

Were this you chilly, I'd be defending you as well. I think I have a good idea of your character and I would certainly give you the benefit of the doubt.

More importantly, why does everything here have to turn into a dust up? That was a rhetorical question and I'm not looking for finger pointers to come in and place blame. I'm hoping to get people to stop.

First of all, I have no desire to want to learn how to surf.

I agree with much of what you said. I do think maybe the word bullying might be a little strong for what usually goes on here, but the definite egging on that takes place can get out of control especially when the person has indicated they would like it to stop. It really is no wonder new people feel uncomfortable or intimidated when there is a mob mentality and a pile on ensues over something as innocent as posting on the wrong thread or heaven forbid referring to a woman as a “female” etc.

I agree with the laugh more and bicker less, but I think we are too far gone to assume the best in each other, unfortunately. People have shown their true colors (not necessarily in this thread) and as my favorite saying goes…When people show you who they really are, believe them.

That's fair. I likely haven't got as involved here and therefore, that may be easier for me. It doesn't mean there aren't people I don't enjoy. I just tend to avoid them or put them on ignore. I know in my heart that what I posted was not done with any malice. Surferdude has said he didn’t feel like he was being bullied and the moderator has said that the thread reads as playful. I can sleep at night knowing this.

LW you mention shitty behaviour. I don’t know who you are referring to but if you think my behaviour has been shitty at any time, I would like to think that you would tell me. In fact, out of all of your circle of friends, I would have expected you to be the one to feel that they could be that direct with me and it disappoints me to think that you couldn’t.
