Monday, 13 May 2024 03:24 PM EDTU.S. national security adviser Jake Sullivan said on Monday that President Joe Biden's administration did not view the killings of Palestinians in Gaza by Israel in its war with Hamas as a genocide.
Sullivan, speaking to reporters at the White House, said the United States wants to see Hamas defeated, that Palestinians caught in the middle of the war were in "hell," and that a major military operation by Israel in Rafah would be a mistake.
"We do not believe what is happening in Gaza is a genocide. We have been firmly on record rejecting that proposition," Sullivan said.
Biden, who is running for reelection this year, has faced heavy criticism from his own supporters domestically for his support of Israel; some of those critics have accused Israel of committing genocide. More than 35,000 Palestinians in Gaza have died, according to Gaza health officials.

My balance of views on this is as I expressed it. It was formed from forty-five years working the issue and living, off and on, in the region. I don't feel the obligation to repeatedly state it on a porn discussion board just to keep anyone else objective in their gauging of anything.

Thanks to Barack Obama and Joe Biden, they funded it and looked the other way. They didn't have those weapons when Trump was President, He sanctioned the shit our of Iran and Joe dropped those sanctions.

Nope. 44 delayed nuclear weapons thanks to the jcpoa. Once 45 withdrew, Iran went back to making their way to the bomb.

The IAEA had unfettered access to monitor production of nuclear material and they had actionable punishment of Iran if that access was violated.
They no longer do thanks to 45.

I also don’t remember you posting "The Hamas ministry of health" death counts or Hamas propaganda. (Am I wrong on this point?)
From my recollection, you condemned the Hamas animals 10/7 attack, but rationalized about it being justified to an extent.
I do remember you mentioning being stationed in the region, and that you saw / knew the way things worked, which apparently grants you some authority to give the Pro-Palestinian at any and all costs crowd a free pass for condoning (at the very least) a 9/11 type attack on Israel.
