Take them out one by one, you've got all the time in the world. How long did we take getting Bin Laden. Which I might add I think was the wrong move. Letting him die of old age would have been fine.

Because Israel's actions are the only one that should never happen from a civilized country. One expects terrorists to act like terrorists. Maybe...you are saying Israel is nothing but a sanctioned terrorist group?

It was a huge mistake to move ground troops into Gaza.

What Israel should have done was a punitive bombing campaign to inflict several times as many casualties as the Palestinians did in their attack.

They've done that already.

Then they should have turned their attention and energy to reinforcing their defensive position to prevent another similar attack from taking place.

They're doing that as well.

That would have answered the calls to retaliate, given more protection to their own citizens, and avoided uniting a large chunk of the world against them.

And those responsible would get away with it.

America should be demanding a cease-fire and refusing to invest blood or money in this debacle. America should also be telling Israel that continuing to act out of emotion, or a strategy to eliminate the Palestinians entirely… will probably result in the end of Israel.

We've done that.

This situation is that serious… but Americans can’t see it that way because our media and politicians are both in Israel’s pocket.

One must wonder...why any "civilized" country would embark in a war using tactics that have zero percent chance of success? Could it be...there is a motive behind this war not related to Hamas? Surely not...from any "civilized" country.

I wonder...why did Israel ignore the US warning twice? I wonder...why did Israel ignore the Egyptian warning? I wonder...why did Israel ignore the warning from the Palestinian Authority? Could they have ignored the warning...on purpose? Surely not. No "civilized" country would sacrifice their own citizens for some goal beyond elimination of Hamas...which they will never accomplish using the tactics being used today. Would they?

But then...they aren't very "civilized" murdering women and children are they?

One must ask...what is really going on here? Seems to me...total destruction of Gaza...forcing those that survive to leave. But I can't see into the hearts of uncivilized humans. Maybe...they just like murdering people like Hamas does?

So again...here we are asking the same question. What is the true motive of Israel? Because no matter which path we look...what is observed...isn't fitting the words said to explain it.

I agree. And Hamas hasn't allowed for elections since 2006. To say that Palestinians voted for this is another bullshit talking point I've seen. I typically respond with asking if they would support Obama still as President today? (Especially since they are.typically right leaning)
