As a public officer, I would exercise a better sense of decorum and judgement, both attributes that Trump lacks.

Generally his way is on the not so decorum side? sure. Does he represent a large % of population on that?

But in this specific shithole contest, the ones who lacked it are the shithole mini brains who went saying in public what he said in a closed session.

Haiti is a shithole where resorts use walls and security to keep the tourists safe. The corruption and culture have condemned the citizens of Haiti to living conditions and poverty that are certainly less-then-human by any standard even slightly more elevated than North Korea or the warring tribes of Somalia. Even if Trump had addressed that situation in the most diplomatic of terms, Durban was still going to come out and declare him a racist. Who in their right mind invites Big Dick to a "private" meeting in light of his known past of playing loose and fast with the facts in order to play partisan gotcha.

Many places on the planets are in fact shitholes.

Many places would still be, or be more shitholes than what they are should it not have been for the US.

The US needs to set it's criteria, and anyone who fits it - even from shithole countries - has to be able to come.
