The SCOTUS had a job to interpret the Constitution. Which clearly establishes limits on executive power and was supposed to hold the president accountable for their crimes. They chose to ignore the Constitution, and basically overturn it, handing over a dictatorship. Therefore, they failed- both in their job and as an independant branch of government. In a dictatorship, the justice sysetem, legislative branch, and executive branch are all operated by one person who rules without limits. In the U.S. according to the Constitution, this is not supposed to be the case.
Therefore, the courts have failed the Constitution and have failed America, by refusing to act as an independant judiciary beholden to the Constitution.
Why do you prefer dictatorships? Just a question. Do you realize that under such a system, nobody's freedoms or rights are guaranteed- including yours? Do you realize that all of the human rights and liberties that the founding fathers gave us, basically do not exist under such a system? And this is an honest question. You think you will be safe- just support the government- but in a dictatorship, even the most ardent government supporters are not always safe if they fall out of favor.
My ancestors died fighting tyranny overseas and I would prefer to not see their sacrifices be in vain.
