Circumcision....discuss?

Apparently he had his dong cut when he was an adult - for medical reasons. Foreskin was too tight.

I don't even want to know how you got this information....

Most women feel the same way except for the ones that have to say different cuz their mans cock has a hat.

lol

Many women love an uncut cock
All a matter of preference

So you prefer to look at and play with a circ'ed cock?

I'm going to tell you anyway - he wrote about it in his autobiography.

If I were gay and did that sort of thing, yeah Id prefer an uncut cock. It would be a prerequisite frankly...lol

Ive seen girls claim to think uncirx are ok but you could tell they were bullshitting.

Not to mention....from what Ive seen on dvd's and such the skins always moving on an uncut dick. Like if shes jacking himm off and he's hard she is actually moving the skin around the cock, not stroking the skin itself. What this translates into I dont know, but it sure looks weird.

And how many uncut guys have tossed it out infront of a girl who has only seen cut cock. How uncomfortable that must be.

Its like....WTF is That Thing!

lol

Being someone who studies cultural anthropology, I'm aware that most of the word does not practice male circumcision. in the U.S. it seems the belief is that it is somehow more hygenic to have the foreskin removed. The claim is that it prevents bacterial infection. However, I would have to disagree with this, as I've never heard anything about problems with infection due to having a foreskin from people living in places where no one practices foreskin removal.

I'd say that for the U.S., the idea that circumcision= cleanliness is a cultural belief, and not based on much, if any, fact.
Let's face it--as long as a guy washes thoroughly it's not a problem, foreskin or no foreskin.

Personally, it's my opinion that removing part of one's sexual organs when a person is too young to give consent is cruel. I believe it is similar to female circumcision, in which girls have part of their outer sexual organs removed, whether they want to or not.

Whether removal of the foreskin reduces feelings of sexual pleasure is something I wouldn't know, but if it does I doubt it does so by a significant amount, as most circumsized guys seem to enjoy sex.

Regardless of that, I think that medically, the foreskin protects the penis, and removing it does NOT make the penis any more hygienic. Again, that's what bathing is for. Just teach the kid to pull back his foreskin when he bathes. No big deal.

From a logical perspective, there is probably a reason why human males have foreskins. Just because we may not know what the function is doesn't mean we should cut it off. Take other examples: used to be in the U.S. that in the 50's kids had their tonsils removed whether they had problems with them or not. Only later did people realize that the tonsils are part of one's immune system and help people to fight off illnesses.

If you're considering having your infant's foreskin removed I would strongly advise that you consider how much pain that would cause, and whether you believe it to be necessary. Personally, I think it's cruel to remove parts of someone's sexual organs.

Do they put some kind of local anesthetic on it before snipping? Anyone know?

I don't know if I could have that done to my kid but I'm glad that my parents had me done. I like it. And I don't remember a damn thing!

Don't you know that "Post-Traumatic Repressed Circumcision Syndrome" is all the rage these days? :D

It varies by physician. Some will use a topical cream, some use nothing. The theory is that newborns have no memory of pain to fall back on so they do not percieve pain in the same way that we do. And also they refer to the fact that they will never remember it.

Well that's pretty damned insensitive of them! Just because a living being may not remember an experience of physical pain doesn't mean it can't feel the pain. And if it cries and screams then one can pretty much assume it feels pain, especially if it's having part of its body cut off. It doesn't take a genius to know that cutting off part of a baby's body will feel bad for the baby, whether it remembers it or has any previous painful experience with which to compare it. Damned doctors. Can they really be that stupid?

Thanks MW

I bet if I drop an infant on the floor, it won't hurt. And it probably won't remember either.

WTF kind of argument is that for a doctor to give? LOL.

Well, that is what they taught us in nursing school. Trust me, with many Drs, pain is not an issue. They become jaded. A job is a job.

I'm sure it's more a self-protection thing than it is being jaded or considering it "just a job".

I sure hope I never need surgery.

LOL. Mine was of the grim reaper dressed in white with a big scythe, but I was pretty hung back then.

It was a damn good thing those barbarians cut off a few inches too otherwise they would have doomed me to a career in the porn industry! :D

If they have aspirations for little Johnny to grow up and become a porn star then there's no debating the issue! Snippity-snip.

Hey...you just have no idea. Unless I am dying, I will never have another surgery.
I watched a Dr. try to intubate a pt. getting heart surgery. He became very upset because it was a difficult client and began shoving and forcing this tube into her throat.

It took an hour, they called in specialists. He did some damage. It was a mess and he was upset because it was inconvenient to him.

Just a perfect example of how much some care.

There are some things I just don't want to know.

Fuckin hell

I still swear I can remember it. "facts" don't mean squat. I remember the pinch and screaming in vivid detail. and I couldn't have been more than a few months old.
