The most romantic of eves. I can't wait to be kissed under the mesquite bush at midnight. I'm buying the tequila. Tequila for everyone.

Sorry, but I don't celebrate the 5th of May, seeing that my family is NOT from Mexico and part was from France.

It's a long time until Bastille Day.

You missed Mother's Day, which is next Sunday.

Since my French ancestors landed in New Orleans in the 1890s, my grandfather being born in Avoyelles Parish, I'm closer to being Cajun than French.

Un gran disco. Es una lástima que suene a lata. Faltan graves. La cuestión de grabar en varios mini-estudios no funcionó para el producto final.

Celebrating the first time one's country didn't lose a battle to a foreign invader (even though they did lose the war) seem like a sorry excuse for a holiday.

Why don't Mexicans celebrate Diez y Seis de Septembre with the same gusto?

Because Cinco de Mayo is closer to the vernal equinox.

I am keeping a close eye on my gardener. He was pitched to me as a hard worker...
