The fabulous BSG sneered at the idea that texts about cannibalism, transhuman sex, flagellation et al could reflect love.

I struggled to explain that these texts were in some instances literary homages to writers like the unknown, unread, and incomprehensible Tennessee Williams ("cannibalism"), and Mighty Mighty Lautréamont (a new interp of "jumping the shark"). Other inspirations include dreamwork.

The idea that this Loomer Brigade of teen trolls would claim to be involved in culture and then assault me for my writerly personality is bad enough.
