I agree with you and ME. The music and the religious stuff is great. Until arthritis claimed my knees I loved to go shopping on Christmas Eve. Not to shop for gifts, but to be a part of the madness.

Being in a choir my Christmas Eves were already taken. During the holidays {Easter & Christmas} those of us in the choir did get "all churched out."

Yes, I agree with you kayte, being in a choir does get you churched out....we have started looking at Christmas music now.....we are a small choir....and the choir director is always worried about who is going to show up.....there's about 5 men and about 8 women..the biggest problem is that all of the men sing bass ..we have no tenors...my son, the youngest man, just like to sing the low notes...but we do have fun

I'm an alto ~ That is what I prefer to sing. I can get high enough to do the song leading at Mass if I have to but it can be a challenge depending on the select music.

I can sing high tenor, and I actually prefer the low end of my voice.

I remember being there for Christmas Eve and one of the Masses during Christmas Day.
