This Saturday I will be picking up my brand-spankin' new Uncle J custom built guitar. At which point I will rule the world.
Ok maybe not, but Ill damn sure be rocking' with tone and style to burn.
I am SO EXCITED!

I'm thinking about Thursday I'm going to have to start slipping tranquilizers into his coffee (he drinks it pretty much all the time) or we're going to have to peel him off the ceiling. How in the world am I going to survive the 4-hour drive to get him and this guitar together?

and don't worry too much about pics. i'll have a whole cd full of pics for you when you pick it up saturday. i don't want to tease too much but i spent some more time on the action today and this baby almost plays itself. all that's left is to intone the bridge and then sign it and it's ready.

I didn't even get my coat off when I got inside the door last night -- he grabbed my hand and dragged me up the stairs to go look at the "teaser" picture of his new baby that unclej emailed yesterday.

It's absolutely gorgeous! I can't wait to hear it!
