Look up Christian Domestic Discipline
Does your Christianity have anything to do with your BDSM play? Do you feel that you play in a particularly biblically approved way, or any of that sort of thing?I'm a Christian and my fiancee and I engage in different aspects of play.
I recall the first time I mentioned that I was a Christian, it was quite the reaction.
Keep the faith, and the kink.
Well, yeah, but Jesus turned it into sangria.
I think people who invent "Christian" versions of BDSM, music, books, 'you name it they have a Christian version of it', are the intellectual equivalent of 2 x 4 planks.
I have no respect whatsoever for this insular attitude to reality. I'm not trying deliberately to offend you, this is merely my point of view.
Do Christians have a 'culture'? Sure thing. But extending that to literally everything is seriously disturbing, like the way there was "Nazi Physics" and "Jewish Physics" in the 3rd Reich or the way there was "Communist" history and regular history for the Soviets. There is no Christian favour of ice-cream, why have Christian equivalents of heavy metal et al. I think many actual Christians would be on board with what I'm saying. If you really believe in God then I would have thought you'd accept that everything is God's handiwork, and leave it at that. To say something is more so or less so opens the door to some fairly serious theological loopholes in your arguments...![]()

does this strike anyone else as being deliciously ironic?
Word. No, not really. If you're insulating yourself you're insulating yourself and the big bad evil world doesn't have to kiss your ass for it.
The idea that Christianity is some kind of threatened challenged worldview works in Lebanon and Egypt, but not in the US or Europe.

Anyone ever heard of it? How would it differ from regular BDSM?

But you are forgiven. You feel guilty afterwards.
But you are forgiven.
I SHOULD have but I haven't. WHY? Because Christian society only permits sex for procreation, if that. At the same time, it promotes "go forth and multiply" in order to expand Christianiaty.
Promote Christianity by procreating, but don't have any fun while doing it.
kiss_of_sin said:Anything sexual that is taken out of marriage is sin. any sexual thought of someone other than your spouse is sin. (ironically, though, polygamy IS approved) In the Bible you have a complete book devoted to a man describing a woman through the eyes of lust. (song of solomon) but if you read leviticus it forbids almost everything, including anal.
The bible is thoroughly supportive of the master/slave thing, including corporal punishment for the disobedient - yes?I really don't see what the problem is with Christian BDSM.
Quotes, please. The writings of "noone" on spanking are delightful.
Thanks for the link.
