Oh, Dear "Bob", I certainly hope not. There is nothing more annoying than someone jumping into the middle of my fracasees trying to "help".

But as a fellow Kentuckian, I'm sure he relates.

LOL

I am glad if theres someone willing to give a helping hand. ;)

Yanno, if we start a thread for everyone on this forum it is going to not only get very boring, but also clog up traffic of threads that really do have a topic or point beside letting them know you know how to spell their username and that they post here....just saying. :rose:

Oh I get that, but just guess I have seen it happen all before and it doesn't compute to me as humourous or inclusive, but then I can be too serious for my own good at times. To quote ADR who I have great admiration for 'whatever floats your boat'.

As it happens I would rather not have a thread about me, but someone felt I needed one as well as Chris.

I have no plans to make one myself.

Cat, I had no knowledge of this being done until I was told. If you feel it necessary to delete it, I personally wouldn't mind.

I do appreciate the attention given to me by the OP and thank her politely.

I know, or suspected you didn't know and just wanted to get people to think before posting new threads. I am all for new threads, but of late we have had a few of the name theads, multiple threads made and duplicated by the same person each time they want to post again in the same vein which could have been all posted in their original thread, but perhaps in their mind would not have gained enough attention or something....stuffed if I know why they feel it necessary to have several threads by them of the same type thing. I remember when I first began posting how people used to go on about being aware of the bandwidth being used, to the point of getting antsy about people using too many emoticons...I still don't understand how that al works but I do know I get enough PM's from people who can't find threads they were posting to a week or so before etc., to know I am not the only one thinking about forum traffic and frustration. Lit policy is threads don't get deleted or censored or locked unless they are SPAM (in which case they are moved to be taken care of, not deleted), so I won't delete it and fully support the Lit policy in the interests of free speech...maybe we need to address it as a power and control issue and apply a little before starting yet another thread without thinking first.

You're absolutely right. Let me go tell everyone what I'm wearing, what football team I'm rooting for, a BDSM implement that begins with the letter K, and answer only with a question. My life now has a new sense of purpose.

LOL, at least I don't feel so much like I must be just getting stodgy or something now...and BTW, which football team are you rooting for? :D

Not stodgy at all. :) While I don't see the Cafe as giving me a sense of purpose in life *laughs*, I do see it as a great way to unwind and make casual friends.

I'm just stopping in to thank you Catalina. I understand and appreciate how well you (and Marquis) handle this part of the forum. Someone needs to keep all us flirts on topic and "crack the whip" so to speak. ;) (huge, huge fan of emoticons) -I think this is especially helpful in terms of a book keeping and the historical aspect.

I understand your frustration, and I will be aware as to try not to add to it in the future.

Trying to behave,

-Ophelia

Quint, I think you are right in that there are many threads on the boards that have no "serious" purpose but that is what the cafe is for. Just to have fun with a bdsm slant.

Your sarcasm is great source of amusement for me.. and I mean that with the highest amount of praise.
