The story I'm working on involve children being born. Only meaning that someone was pregnant and gave birth. No jollies during the process.

The concern lays in the fact that the child grows-up and become sexually active at a proper age during the story.

Should be no problem. I have tread stories here where people have been described growing up. In quite general terms though. And then, at the proper age, they became proper erotica nymphos. Just don't hint at it until they are.

How could she know about the penis before the baby was born? Would a sonogram have shown a tiny little thing between the legs of the fetus? The photo showed an erection but that would not have usually been the case.

Aint technology wonderful Yelp, thought about that and this is what I came up with:

Adeline laid on the examination table while the nurse performed the ultrasound. The swishing sound of the machine echoed in the small room. Adeline looked intently at the sonogram on the machine as the nurse moved the peddle over her pregnant stomach. It was amazing at how clearly the machine was able to show her unborn child.
The nurse quickly pulled the peddle away from Adeline’s stomach. “I have to go get the doctor,” nurse said moving quickly to the door.
“What’s wrong?” Adeline asked, but the nurse was already out the door.
Less than a minute later the nurse returned with the doctor.
“Doctor? What’s wrong with my baby?” Adeline asked in a panic.
“Just stay calm Ms Caustus…everything is going to be fine,” the doctor said picking up the ultrasound peddle and putting it back to her stomach. The doctor mumbled something to himself that neither the nurse or Adeline could understand.
“What’s wrong with my baby?!” Adeline exclaimed.
“It appears that your baby is intersexed,“ the doctor said. “Without further testing I can’t say for sure, but it appears that your child is a hermaphrodite.”
“I don’t understand,” Adeline said. “Is that bad.”
“Don’t worry Ms Caustus, we have procedures that can fix the problem,” the doctor said.
“What problem? I don’t understand what’s wrong with my baby,” Adeline said getting more and more upset.
“Maybe we should contact your husband,” the nurse said.
“My husband died six months ago,” Adeline said sitting up and appearing very annoyed that she wasn’t getting a straight answer.
“You baby has a male sex organ, however it also has predominately female sex organs,” the doctor said. “In these situations we remove the less dominate trait, so the child can live a normal healthy life.”
“I’ll schedule the operation doctor,” the nurse said leaving the room.
“Don’t worry Ms Caustus, your baby is going to be fine,” the doctor said. “I’ve done this procedure many times before. Go ahead and get dressed and the nurse will return with an appointment for you.”
The doctor smiled when he left the room, but Adeline was not comforted by what he had told her. Something didn’t feel right about it. She felt that she had to get out of there. She quickly dressed and sneaked passed the nurse to the stairwell to the parking garage.
With each mile she put between the doctor’s office and her unborn child made her feel safer. She felt that she had to keep going even when she got back to her mother’s house where she had been staying. Her mother wasn’t home, so she left a note. She only packed one back as she hit the road heading south into Mexico.
Adeline was able to blend into a tourist area keeping herself under the radar of the locals. Her ability to speak the language helped her to find a doctor to deliver her child.
Adeline missed her husband terribly everyday, especially since she was unable to find off her sexual needs. Her swollen clit was nearly an inch and kept her in need for satisfaction. She was resigned to taking care of her needs herself, not even giving a thought to having another man touch her.
