Changed signature won't update

So I changed my signature a while ago and noticed that my old posts still show my old signature. I had expected the change would be applied to my old posts as well, but apparently not. Any way of forcing this update? I imagine editing your old post and saving it might update the signature, but that seems like a lot of work. I'm rather looking for a way to update the signatures on all my posts at once, if at all possible. Anyone know of a way to do that?

Yeah, there's really no fix for this. You can take comfort in the fact that probably half the site has sigs blocked anyway.

Your signature is your signature. It doesn't change. Lots of people here on the Lit GeeBee have signatures turned off anyway. Your signature sucks and Lurelle decided to not update it with your posts. Please so better and we'll try to talk to her for you.

I checked back to your first two posts, which have no signature at all, and everything after those two has the same signature. I suspect that they defaulted to "Show your signature" unchecked because you hadn't established a signature yet; editing those two to change that check box should bring everything up to your current signature.

You're right, it appears having no signature when I posted those first two prevented it from showing at all. Just made a small change to my signature to check and it updates just fine across all my posts except those two. Thanks for the help

And just to be clear: I don't mind that two of my posts don't have my signature, I just wanted to know in case I wanted to change it in the future (if I would no longer be available as an editor anymore, for example. Would be handy if I could remove that advertisement on all of my posts then, but that's not an issue anymore since it works now).
