Challenge - How Distinctive Is Your Writing?

Well, I've had a go at all three and expect to get none of them right.

Unless you were trying to distract other guessers or didn't enter then you must have got at least one right.

Edited to add: I just looked at the group C guess. I understand. Or perhaps it's still right? I give up.

Normally I'd jump on the gosling (I mean jump at the chance) but at the moment I'm stressed (well it says exhaustion on my sick note) and irretrievably lazy anyway.
To save your jumping (and a possible slap from my wife ;))....

Current standings are:

Most distinctive story - 39.39% of guessers got it right
Best guesser - 38.10% of their guesses are right
Percentage of the stories that still have had no correct guesses - 9.52%!

Yeah, that's the one.

It's really bad when you can't even pick out the authors that you always read. Maybe it's the 500 word limit. It should be enough, but...

I think it is the 500 word limit. . .I always thought my work was good, but I guess not, since one guesser has referred to it in a less than pleasing manner. lol . . . But *shrugs* it is only 500 words and so it isn't my best. I had to take a lot of detail out and emotion too, but that is life, no biggie. It still has been fun and all the writers that came out to participate made it even more fun.

 I was probably off, I'm not a a good guesser and 500 words isn't near enough. I think the best aspect out of this is that some authors have gone to other author's work they're not familiar with and read.

I agree. . . I know I read work from author's I'd not read before.

I think even more than that, Red, is that the quality of writers that hang in the AH has become so good, it's hard to tell them apart by the prose.

Deadline must be getting close. I might see the results tonight, I think. (currently 8.23pm).
I'll check back in after Supernatural.

Deadline is in 2 and 1/2 hours. Then tallying.

Me too. I've 'bookmarked' a dozen writers I've not read before. Going to have to set aside an hour a day just for Lit reading.

Pencils down, children, and pass your papers to the front of the class.
