I'm currently working in the shadows on a short story that only makes sense as a one-off. I'm considering the only category it fits in is Romance even though the romance between the characters actually fails, which might rule out the category entirely, unfortunately.
Spoilers:
It's about a girl (with a penis) lusting after another girl who has a boyfriend for most of the story. They're also close friends. It's principally about the emotions the main character feels about this woman throughout the friendship. There isn't any outright kink except for latently beneath the surface this idea that she worships her as a kind of goddess of love figure, up until the end. I don't think it's Erotic Couplings because it really isn't about that.
