Rainbow Bridge

I have begun reconstructing the web page for a very dear kitten that was in my life for a veryyyy short time last year. I thought I would share a few pictures of him, and when the web page is done I'll share that.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

lol at least yours has a name... the 4 we have now still don't have names, and they're probably close to 12 weeks old by now :rolleyes:

He was never a very playful kitten, that should've been our first clue that something that was verrryyy wrong. :( I'm the lucky one - he touched me in ways a cat hadn't in years. Since i was 19 and our 14 year old cat died, I never really was fond of cats after that. This little guy changed my mind. About a month after he died, my then roommates and I got 2 more kittens, brothers. When my computer crashed in May I lost the pics I had of them. :( Will try and get the former roommate to send me pictures of the boys. One is solid white, with one blue and one green eye, the other gray and white bobtail.

Anyway, here is the page I was working on for Salem.

Ohh .. sweety... that's such a nice tribute..

I can't read that poem without crying.. can anyone? Our pets give us so much love, and ask for little in return.. we are certainly blessed.

They're doing ok.. I had the babygirl spayed last week, she's about back to her old self. The boys still haven't established who is top cat lol. i hear them carrying on outside at night..

How about yours???

Love the new pics posted since this morning.. especially the shower one.. lol

Good to hear they are ok. :)

I know that sound, sometimes hear other cats up to the same thing late at night too.

My girls are just fine, getting more and more loving as each days go by, not tmention lazy, even though they have a flap to use they will just sit next to the door and expect us to open to let them out.... :rolleyes:
