Not sure where else to post this. But do you guys think a married person who openly has a fwb with the consent of thier partner is disrespecting or treating the non married person as meat or that anyone is doing anything wrong? I think my friend is seeing this wrong but now he went to bed and the issue is unresolved.

I quirks say every relationship had its own boundaries and should be defined by those in it and not by people that feel they should have an opinion

I agree with that. Its more about boundaries and consent in the specific relationship and not about some specific set of rules that apply the same way to everyone and that's the ethical part of that, but I also think that having a fwb doesn't make anyone meat ot necessarily imply any kind of disrespect for that person.

I see voluntary relationships as transactional. I think open marriage / fwb can work under certain circumstances.

...anyone is doing anything wrong?

I don't see sex as right and wrong. Legal / illegal yes. We have laws against pedophilia for example (Elites notwithstanding).

Assuming the person who is not part of the marriage in this scenario is being disrespected is kind of projecting a little bit. I would say it's not for everyone!

If the person in the fwb position of an open marriage is ok with it - content to be in that role then why not. But I think they need to set clear boundaries and expectations.

It's all fun and games until someone ends up in a cone.

Well, you know how if a dog (or cat) gets injured or something, they put this cone thing on their head to keep them from messing around with the injured area. 1000013113.jpg
So it's a silly metaphor for getting hurt. đź’›

It depends on what everyone in this relationship is expecting.

I have a married FWB who's wife is also my friend. She obviously knows about her husband fucking me.
She even watches sometimes.
I don't really mind that he just uses me for sex. I do the same.

It's important to talk about it with your FWB about what your expectations are. Before you start to fuck

I think it depends upon the people involved.

I'm sorry, but I fail to see an upside for any person involved, except maybe the spouse that allegedly has 'permission'. Why would someone want to risk their marriage over sex? And why would the third wheel consent to knowing that he/she is merely a prop? Seems to me that this oversexed spouse is acting quite selfishly

Google AI: Roughly 20% to 25% of married people and up to 70% of people in dating relationships admit to some form of infidelity.

People risk things all of the time. Animal sexual reproductive "programming" is very powerful.

Wow that's fucked up.

Hmm interesting. I would be in an open relationship and I know a few people with various degrees of open or poly so I wasnt even questioning that part.

What i was curious about is what makes the person a prop or third wheel.

Wow that's fucked up.
Engaged 2 n half times. All ended for reason of fiance sleeping around in closed relationship. 3rd one broke off the entire relationship so she could be like her twin and fuck anyone, at any time. Of course, after several STDs she finds me, and want us to start back where we left off, like nothing never happened
