Hello there Sir Hairless,nice to meet you. Welcome to Carrie's Corner. I haven't only been open but a couple of weeks and things are picking up. Unfortunately,Real Life pops in and interrupts me a lot!! We have lots of nice people here,so make yourself at home!!

the Squidlet fell asleep on my bed curled up with me. He hasn't done that since he was about 3. He's 12 now! lol

Isn't that soooo cute when they do that? They wanna be grown up and independent, but still love to be cuddled and snuggled at any age.
 
yes it is right now he's eating lunch and cracking jokes! he's telling jokes i remember from when i was 12. LOL

I remember one time I was babysitting a little nephew---he was 10, I was 22. He asked if I knew how to make those paper toys. You know? the ones where you wrote numbers on them, used your fingers to count, then whatever number was picked, you opened underneath and it would give you a fortune? He and I played with that thing and he thought it was fun. then he looked at me all serious like and said "Did you make those back in the "Olden Days"?" I had to bite my tongue :rolleyes:

He asked me once when hearing our rooster crow.. "Gramma have you ever choked a chicken?" I said No and then asked him if he knew what it meant. He said " No...but my Dad says it the same thing as spanking my monkey. Have you ever done that?"
It was all i could do to keep from laughing out loud!

One time I was staying at a cousin's place. My little nephew was having a shower. Of course, he never dried himself off and came out of the shower sopping wet. Once he was toweled off, I asked him if he wanted me to blow dry his hair. Afterwards, he announced to all his friends how Auntie gave him a "blow job" :rolleyes:
