Every Marvel MCU (and maybe ancillary animated) movie is worth going to the theater to see. The wide-screen, hi-def Dolby/THX sound bombast is exactly what you need, want and pay for. ;)

plus, where ever you are can't be as expensive as where I am and I went to see it during a cheap matinee! :D

I almost never see movies in a theater and I don't feel like I miss out on much. Never seen an IMAX before. Not to say others are wrong cuz if that's your thing then it's your thing but I know me personally it doesn't matter how I watch it. Sound is totally meaningless to me. I just need to hear it.

The first time watch is the real treat. I feel I'm shorting myself if I don't see it the first time in all its full glorious majesty. Also, we're living in an instant spoiler age with online media and I gotta nip that in the bud for my happiness. So I see their shit that following morning if I don't get in for the midnight shows.

I've watched Infinity War a million times at home and it kicks, but nothing will ever be like the first time seeing it in the theaters.

If you were around you'll recall I had a gas of a time making fun of the birthers and the "Kenyan communist Ninjas are coming for GRANDMA!!" loonies when Obama was in office too and was accused of being a communist regularly for it.

Nothing has really changed. :D

There are certain movies that I like to watch in theaters, particularly action films.

I agree, the experience is unbelievable, especially in 3D. The sound, the screen, just amazing!

Best Foreign Language Film - Captain Marvel
Best Animated Feature - Captain Marvel
Best Documentary Feature - Captain Marvel
The Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award - Captain Marvel

You probably enjoyed eating paste as a child too.

Batman V Superman made 166 million on it's opening (13 million more than Captain Marvel's opening). That movie still sucked. Due to bad word of mouth, the movie had a massive 69% drop in it's second week. After seeing Captain Marvel, I would not be surprised to see something similar.
