Cant is a tremendous artist. He used to have some of his work posted in a thread around here. It's worth a look if someone wants to dig it up.

I search myself and find, alas, that the site still remembers the thread.

So I don't get to post the stuff again. (They don't let you post the same image twice, unless it's a link.)

Which is okay, in a way, because I was new to the scanner thing and I set the dots per inch 'way high. Shrinking it to postable size distorted everything.

Scan at about 72 dpi, that's the ticket.

I did the drawing looking at her av. She needed it for a very amazing reason, which you should ask her about sometime.

I scanned the drawing three times with different resolutions and color balances and attached the files to an e-mail. One of them should be useful to her.

Some of Rhino's pencil work is better than mine, and I don't have a style like he does with the pen-which-maketh-its-own-wash.

I do poster work, mostly, bright pure sharply defined areas of color-- and finicky pencil rendering. I don't get laid enough, so I do nudes a lot! And write porn.

Well, this site, Lit, was to have been that.

Go down the Index page, the story index, outside the forum. After the various categories and the News Of The Fuck you will find a link to Erotic Illos, subtitled something like contributions from writers and readers of Lit.

Well, there are detailed instructions for posting there, but they never work.

Rhino tells me they have never updated the section in years! So, I quit trying and did the thread he was running then (B) and it was cool for a bit.

But nobody much seems to want to have an illo in their porn. Mabeuse says it restricts the imagination of the reader and shoehorns in between the reader and the writer's minds, or words to that effect.

It's true. Illo books are all about the illos, not the stories. What would be the best would be a comic book sort of thing.

Or just a section like the "Erotic Illustrations" section, which really would be the fucking ideal, dude, if they'd only do it.

So we make do with the threads. Rhino has a new one now. Any Litster can post, but he prefers greatly that it be nudes and sex and stuff.

I keep telling myself to re-scan and re-post in Rhino's new thread. But I'm wicked lazy.

Illustrated story books are very hot right now in publishing circles. At the very least, you should be able to convince Penthouse to hire you to illustrate a featured Dear Penthouse letter each month.

Cantdog,
first....try just renaming your files! if for somereason they are still recognized. crop slightly (or enlarge) and rename.

Rename alone had no effect, the site knew and referred me to "This AV".

I was unhappy with the reductions anyway. I shall rescan some and alter some.

Tell me, Rhino: You erased the links to the posted illos when you went through the "Hangout" thread. Did that effectively remove them?
