Can't blame the sniper anymore

Point taken. However, it was a refreshing change that the cops were looking for a white guy. Then again, Chief Moose is black...

Of course, Moose was looking for a short, white, Russian guy with a cheesy moustache, and his tall, thin female companion.
LOL. I believe that Moose was only a frontman for the Feds who were really running the show.

Of course, had Congress not caved in to the NRA, we would have known after
the first HOUR of the first day of the killings three weeks ago that the
rifle those bullets were coming out of belonged to John Williams/Mohammad.
Many more people died needlessly after that day, and every one of their
deaths could have probably been prevented had we had a national ballistics
fingerprinting data base.
As usual Michael Moore doesn't know his anal orifice from a hole in the ground. We have been over this before in the sniper thread, and this point was thoroughly rebutted. Why bring it up again?

guns don't kill people. people kill people

people can be trained to kill with most anything. you talk of all of the people that were killed by guns but i noticed that you failed to mention how many people were saved by guns today. how many gang bangers buy their fully automatic weapons legally.
have you ever been in a carjacking and had a gun stuck to the side of your head. have you felt the cold steel shaking in some hopheads hand screaming at you for your car. it sucks!!! that taught me to carry a legal hand gun that i purchased legally and carry legally with my C.H.L.

I feel for you for having gone through that. However, if you pulled out your gun while he had his to your head, wouldn't that just give him the excuse to pull his trigger, wiping out any possibility that you would be here posting now?

What in your life changed you into a coward, and to not trust other people's judgement? What part of your life lacks involvement so you have to project your phobia to those around you? What makes you accept mistruth's and emotional lies to sway your opinion? Are you on any special medication for the above conditions? If not, why not?
You are a very unstable person. (Read my middle sig line) :D

Oh like carrying around guns isn't a replacement penis that you can show the world and feel like a big man.

Dear friends,

Yours,

This guy needs to re-take Propaganda 101.

I like the appeal to hunters and gun owners to defeat the NRA -- They are the NRA!

Out To Lunch.

What in this world would lead you to believe you can trust the judgment of any random stranger?

Do you mean mistruths and emotional lies like "The gub'mint's gonna take yer guns away!" or "There's a criminal around every corner, so ya better be packin'!"

Penis extension...

That remark is so first grade, I know now why you posture yourself as you do. :D

The operative term in CHL is CONCEALED. Nobody sees it.

I have yet to have a sexual thought when handling a firearm.

Handling a forearm (female) is another matter entirely!!!!

twin towers

are you saying that only americans kill people maybe you should ask some of the familys of the americans in the trade towers

I haven't seen Bowling for Columbine yet, but I plan to.

This line reminds me of a Kids in the Hall sketch. A character was on a tropical island, and a local mistook him for an American:

"Actually, I'm Canadian. That's like an American, but without a gun."

Ironically, the rate of gun ownership is higher in Canada than the US.

i have to aggre with mbb308 perhaps we were brothers seperated at birth but you failed to mention about sexual thoughts of watching women in bikinis handeling weapons

Posture myself? Now what brought that on? Because I have a different opinion or that I argued with the big bad soldier?

Some of us urban pioneers are living in "da 'hood" where the bad boys are. I should cede my right to self-defense to them? Or, should I hope I can call 911 in time. That's a joke here.

I'll take my chances on getting the drop on the crackheads, thank you very much. Kindly leave me that chance.

Reminder to you simpletons....

Thomas Jefferson: "Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither
inclined or determined to commit crimes. Such laws only make things worse for the assaulted and
better for the assassins; they serve to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man
may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." (1764 Letter and speech from T.
Jefferson quoting with approval an essay by Cesare Beccari)

John Adams: "Arms in the hands of citizens may be used at individual discretion in private self
defense." (A defense of the Constitution of the US)

Mostly I notice their poor form. I'm no fan of spray-n-pray.

And yet our gun related homicide rate is many times Canada's..there is something wrong with America and it's gun fetish.

Just be honest and say you don't like firearms.

I don't like Italian cars, but you may have all you like.

Well in Jefferson's time they had muzzle loading muskets, not automatic rifles. There is a big difference.

How does it compare to Switzerland's, where there is an assault rifle and ammo, provided by the "gummint" in every militiaman's household?

Higher - I already knew.

Gee, that's all we have to do? That might take, what? A weekend?

Life's not Burger King, baby. You don't get it your way and it doesn't get served up in a neatly wrapped little package that smells good with all the stuff inside that's easy to swallow.

You want to solve the problem, that's what we'll have to do. And it's going to cost a lot of money. It's going to take literally generations to retrain our society out of the "me" consciousness we got from the 80s. It's going to take generations to train the selfishness and instant gratification out of it. That's if we could even find a social consciousness interested in getting rid of that highly profitable selfish behavior that perpetuates this sort of violence.

Even if we did manage to get a society where responsibility, accountability, and ethics meant something again, we'd still have killers. Do you know why? Some people are born to kill and they will find a way to do it no matter what you do.

Face reality or listen to the guy who wants the cushy elected job spoon feeding you the solution to all of our violence problems. Delusions are more comfortable, aren't they?

Actually I don't really HATE firearms, I grew up around them. My dad had a shotgun and a few rifles for hunting. That I'm fine with but the millions of handguns I have a problem with, not to mention the machine guns the NRA tries to pass off as hunting weapons, which is a big laugh. Those weapons are strictly made for killing human beings.

illegal

my turn for a question.
how many illegal bought or stolen weapons will be turned over if the government asks or demands us to disarm?????
