Candle making?

I am interested in learning to make my own candles for wax play. Researching this subject has brought me to nothing but dead ends or sites that SELL candles. Does anyone know of any websites with tips and instructions on what to use, where to buy said materials, and whatnot, for safe BDSM wax play?

My sister makes her own candles and this is what she briefly told me. You can get the materials from any craft shop. The basic items that you need are wicks, thermometer (try and get a good one), molds for your candles, double broiler to melt your wax and if you want your candles to be scented do buy aromatheraphy oil (I recommend ylang-ylang, they are very sensous).

I'm sorry I don't have website to recommend. My sister bought books to help her with her candle-making.

Thanks for the links and advice so far...I'm not having any trouble finding information on candle making in general, I'm more concerned about making candles that are safe for use on bare naked skin without burning What types of wax, wicks, dyes, whatever are safe or not. If I can find that information, I can combine it with traditional candle making techniques with ease.
