Trump, for the time being, has locked up the Mid-East. Tacitly leaving Europe and Asia fighting over Africa's resources. And given Africa's political instability I don't think they're going to enjoy that experience. Perhaps they can try to return to the colonial model, I'm sure China would have no problem with that.

It hasn’t been easy to balance those 4 competing sensibilities.
