I claim no authority here and never draw conclusions, I just make observations. I am interested in how you other people "classify" threads.
1. The beloved/hated "List" thread. This is the kind of thread where everyone "lists" whom the people they like or whom their favorite posters are. These threads get a lot views because everyone wants to see if they are on a list or who is on someone else's list.
2. The political/social commentary thread. On these you will find people expressing their opinions about political and social concerns. Make no mistake about it, you will find as much mutual cocksucking on these "serious" threads as anywhere else.
3. Greeting threads. These come in various forms, from Good Morning to Happy Birthday to "I'd like to introduce.....
4. Lyric Threads.
5. The Surprise Thread. These are threads that usually have a title that is completely misleading as to the actual theme of the thread itself. You thought it was one type of thread, and it turned in to the all pervasive mutual cocksucking thread.
6. The mutual cocksucking thread. They are everywhere. They could also be called the "I'll lick your butthole if you lick mine" thread. I call it the mutual cocksucking from a scene in Pulp Fiction where the brains have just been cleaned out of the car, Vincent and Jules are feeling really good about themselves, and Mr. Wolf admonishes them with, "Well, gentlemen, let's not start sucking each other's dicks yet." Many many threads fall under this genre, as well as the surprise genre.

As you can see, it's easy to classify threads. Feel free to critque my list or revise as you feel necessary. I would love to hear your own- maybe you have other ideas? My list is not exhaustive.
