Can Female Nudity be Funny?

Valid point. I have heard that a good percentage of women aren't any too comfortable with their boyfriend's ogling sexy vamps, so it's sort of a karma thing, no?
I don't think women mind it so much if the vamp is on screen. If the vamp is at the next table or walking ahead of the couple, then they mind. But, once again, I'm not the person to ask. I almost never notice what a guy is looking at unless he's looking at me. Then I wonder "Why is he looking at me?"

But it's an interesting point. I suspect, as well, that men might not like a naked stud on screen. They have a hard enough time with the "why aren't you sexy and romantic like him" questions regarding clothed studs on screen. I don't think they want the added headache of competing with the stud's dangly bits :D

Especially when the stud's danglers look like they belong on a donkey!

Funny nudity ? Of itself, I doubt it.
But when part of another image, where her nudity is part of something else, very possible.

As Handley Page puts it,

Nudity on it's own is neither comedic or not. Is it purely the circumstances behind the nudity or what is going on at the time of the nudity that makes it comedic.

I think the basis of the humor in most male nudity played for laughs, is that someone is getting his comeuppance. That, or the character is supposed to be an object of ridicule. It's a way of, literally, exposing a jerk.

There aren't a lot of female roles like that - it's really a male archetype, because males have had positions of power for centuries. There are female jerks in power in movies nowadays, but those roles still tend towards female archetypes (Bitch, Femme Fatale...). The shower scene in M*A*S*H was one instance where the bitchy woman was the (naked) butt of a joke, and it worked alright, but it's hard to make such a scene without it coming off as mean.

Why don't the women here post pics of their naked bodies and we can see which one makes us laugh the most

Last night I saw a very funny burlesque act, which was a brilliant combination of stage magic and strip-tease. All I can say is that I want to see her do that trick again, only this time with a rabbit instead of a handkerchief.

Londoners if you get a chance, check her out at the Hippodrome, where she's appearing as a guest of La Clique

I think you may have something here. At the same time, I've seen cases where the nude male was sympathetic, but the nudity worked for laughs.
