Calling all BBW's

Huh, I worked through the same company for three years at the same site. I wonder if they were ignoring some laws.
depends on when you did it....I was with a contractor for 2 yrs back 95-97 before I left but from the way I understand it the rules/laws have since changed - we had a contractor where i am now right after I got there and he said that he had to follow the same rules i did for length of service so I'm not sure where it was changed or how your company may have gotten around it - there are always loopholes

LOL only she and the "man" knows. and i know all about rules being selectively enforced. I see it in my office every day.
more like the 'MEN' LOL I dealt with micromgmt for years and that's another reason I like the job I do now....I very rarely see or hear from my manager, compared to before my old bosses were walking around practically every 5 mins seeing what everyone is doing

It was 2000 - 2003. Hope you get some resolution soon on the problem.

Night peoples. Got to go get some dinner and do some work before I fall asleep. Another long week ahead. to everyone

Well ... yes, I agree. However, it should be up to the individuals involved ... employees are supposed to be adults. If the aftermath affects the job ... then there are other ways to deal with it.

I guess I might be a bit of a romantic ... I'd hate to see 2 people who belong together hung up b/c they work together.

And yes ... I am a bit naive (niave?) ...

I hate to tell you this, but having teenagers is an eye opener towards looking at adults behavior. I saw grown women behaving just like my teenagers do. I guess the way we are as teens is pretty much how we are going to be as adults, at least in some ways.

Unfortunately, if there is a break up usually one person is going to get hurt unless it's mutual and there lies the problem. The one that is bitter could make things difficult for the other.

who knows - for all I know it's probably a regulation of the individual company that i work for and their agreement with the employer and people believe it's federal law when it's really not.....sure good when it would make me look like an a$$ with my foot in my mouth LOL

I guess I've just never been that deeply involved with a guy ... the one I dated when we worked together ... it ended & we both just kept working together ... must not have been a deep relationship ...

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's the norm, but from what I hear that's usually what happens.

I could see where it could go horribly wrong after a break up ...

Like my marriage is ending on a mutual agreement that we have grown apart.
And that our lives are going in to opposite directions. We're still friends :D

My marriage has been failing for at least a year, maybe 2

Mine has been failing for longer then that, but I just woke up to that fact this year.

There was times, before i met LL that i felt i just wanted to get out of the marriage. it wasn't till i met her that i had the nerve to do so

Same here. I had already decided I wanted out before I even found out about Lit, so no blame can be placed on anyone from here. I just have to wait it out though. Not ready yet.

I understand that. My wife jumped the gun on me when she found out about LL.
I was planning on doing things differently, but in retrospect this is the best way
for all involved.

Well, unless hubby learns my passwords he will never know unless I tell him.
