I left a kiss for Lookinuphill then forgot to write something down lol.....I want to congratulate all those that have lost their weight YOU ROCK!!! It inspires me to get along in my diet also not because I want to be skinny god forbid....but to be healthier, which I am....I'm one of the lucky ones who has the weight but dont have the health problems and my doctor keeps a close eye on that...but I do fluctuate up and down and I KNOW I can lose it....my goal is to be a size 16-18 and I'd be totally happy with that....not that I'm not happy now lol....I'm proud of myself and I do have lots of fun....in the last year I have been more active socially and sexually and I am still astounded by how many men love bigger women....I've had a lot of fun to

I dont post much..lol avid reader but when I saw this post, had to stop and say hello. I too am a BBW..When describing myself, I say more then handfull . There was a time that I thought you had to be a size 10 to be desireable..but have found out so differently. I really believe it is attitude. If you are happy with who you are it shows. It took awhile for me to realize this. But realized I was where I wanted to be when I heard hubby describe me as "Erotic"..

I went through high school with a really poor self-image because I didn't "look like all the other girls." Well, I see pictures of myself and wonder what the hell I was thinking. They looked like girls and I looked like a WOMAN! LOL!

Anyway, my break through moment was when I sold clothes at Lane Bryant and the high school girls would come in, feeling really down-trodden about their looks. Even though they were certainly beautiful, and more importantly, beautiful from the inside out. THAT kind of beauty cannot be bought. And it was through giving them pep-talks about how wonderful they looked in their stylish clothes, that I actually helped myself.

I said "If you woke up tomorrow, 50 pounds lighter, you'd still have the same likes, and dislikes. You'd still love this and hate that. You'd STILL be YOU. The most imporant things about you--your mind, your values, the way you conduct yourself--that's not about being fat or thin. That's about knowing yourself."

i'm glad you all think that. i'm medium build myself and let me tell you. If the guys on here think what they say and i'm not saying they don't since i don't know them and i can't see their faces. i'll take them at their word. thanks guys. *smiles*

however, i have NEVER. run into any MAN, who likes women who are bigger. i can still hear the comments and i do to this day. i do'nt go out much except with my two good friends at work.

i'm glad you all are stickin together we need that. because people are cruel.
and i hear the snickering and the rude comments just about everywhere i go. so the only places i go are those i have too. other than that, i stay where i belong at home and outta sight to quote one man at the movies.

Hey all. To scorpfemale..I like your post and I agree with you 100%. It really is all about the person. I'm glad you can felt the need to share with those younger girls and the rest of us on here. And jasia, I know sometimes it is hard to really know who says what, and society can play a cruel game on people, but there are guys into big girls and I am one of them. And there are more out there. Just be yourself, and screw what others think. The world is a cruel place and it is a hell of a lot easier to be negative then it is to be positive. Just love yourself and take it from there. She said "you have no business being out there--that's gross." I was like "why do you have to hate like that? You're so much uglier than anyone here, because of what's on the inside. Besides, I don't see YOU on any magazine covers."

She kind of smiled and sighed, and turned to her friend and goes "let's go to the bar across the street." And her friend goes "yes, where the air is a little 'lighter'." And they giggled. And I walked behind them all the way to the door going "That's right. .. get out of MY club. Go ahead and go. . .you shouldn't be in public with that ugly attitude." And the people near the door applauded. LOL! ;-) So, just because a couple of people have no manners and no empathy, and no taste. . .don't think the whole world operates like that, please. Please don't lock your pretty self in a house because of what someone says. If they don't like it. .. they don't have to look.

Happy Holiday to all. Let me tell you that for years I hid away from everyone because of my weight, and I hated myself and everyone else.
I have lost a lot but Im still a BBW. The best thing is, I love myself, I love the way I look. And apparantly so do a lot of other people.
If you don't like what you see, then don't look. The beauty Im missing on the outside is doubled by the beauty I have on the inside.
Do I sound conceited? I don't mean to. Im just very happy with myself. I wish all my BBW sisters could have this feeling.

Hi all...just had to add my experiences.

I have been a BBW most of my life, recently lost a lot of weight through excersize and diet, took time and finally realizing I did it for me, but I am still a BBW and proud of my figure.

I have been blessed in my life with men that loved me at whatever size I was. I used to hide away and be shy and afraid to get out there at all, mainly cause there were so many who were cruel and you could see the look of disgust on their faces, but I met a man that couldn't keep his hands off me. And over time, it finally sunk in that he really did find me sexy and exciting and that allowed me to see that in myself finally.

From that time on, I have always felt sexy and have come across other men that found me desirable. But it had to be something I felt within myself first. Sure I still cringe now and then looking in the mirror....but then I look again and realize I am a beautiful person, inside and out and walk away with a smile Have faith, confidence and love for yourself and others will respond.
