California Senator interrupts Homeland Security Secretary press conference

This is what hapened.

On June 12, 2025, Padilla was waiting at the Wilshire Federal Building for a scheduled briefing from General Gregory Guillot, which was delayed when Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem held a press conference in a nearby room on Los Angeles protests of ICE operations. He asked to attend and was seated behind press reporters and cameras. Several minutes into her statement, Noem blamed the California state government, and said the Trump administration would "liberate the city from the socialist and burdensome leadership that this mayor and this governor have placed on this country". At that point, Padilla walked towards the podium,

LOL. Watch the video, he wasn't "walking" he was pushing and shoving people out of the way.

saying "Madame Secretary, I want to know why you insist on exaggerating", whereupon he was forcefully removed by Secret Service agents.

USSS doesn't fuck around. They also aren't Noem but they are tasked with protecting her. If the took Padilla down it's because he represented a threat.

Which alone defeats your bullshit.

He said, "I am Senator Alex Padilla. I have questions for the secretary" while being pulled out of the room and into a hallway, where several agents held him face-down on the floor and he was handcuffed by FBI Police. He was only briefly detained, and spoke to reporters outside the building. Noem said she had a "great" conversation with Padilla after the incident but that his approach was "something that I don't think was appropriate at all".[60][61][62][63][64]

He said it AFTERWARD. Thus he didn't identify himself until it was over. So, again, you LIE about what actually happened.

can you imagine what the headlines would be like if this guy did this to cortez?

What is this?
What does this have to do with your initial claim?
WTF am I doing trying to even talk to you?
You're as useful as a condom skilled with sperm, tho I'm sure you could surprise me and do some wild things IF that sperm came from a BBC.
No lie told. 😐

Coincidentally, the Wilshire Federal Building where Padilla was roughed up is right next to the dog park where I walk my dog. When I took him there today, there were National Guardsmen standing around twiddling their thumbs. The No Kings marches were miles away, and no protesters were in sight on Wilshire. The ICE security freakout would be funny if innocent people weren't getting hurt.

So there's no threat in sight and the NG weren't doing anything offensive yet you seem upset about them being there.

Girl, you need to find you some backbone and courage.

Federalizing the National Guard to provide a "chilling effect" on Free Speech in America would appear to a layperson to be a blatant violation of the Posse Comitatus act, but I'm sure you have some imaginary legal rationale to support your ludicrous position that it does not.

You seem to have a deep and abiding loathing for America's system of law. As such, you bring disgrace upon your profession and any bar association you might be part of.

Even you must know better than to believe the USSS here.

If you have something which proves the USSS took out Padilla because of political motive, then post it.

I'm betting you'll have nothing. Because whiny bitches like you never have anything except lies and noise.

So I'm putting my confidence in the USSS training and their manual of operations.

I saw the incident live. There wasn't any indication that the SS or the FBI knew at first glance who he was. He didn't have a badge and his aggressive behavior warranted the response from the SS. He acted like a jerk.

So, now, anyone asking questions of a White House staffer is considered a threat.

Good to know. Good to know the Lit crew here think he should be shit-shoved to the ground and put in his place, censured for trying to ask questions in an open press conference.

Of course, that's how we should treat all Americans, even those elected, and especially those not of our party affiliation. Dicktator mentality on display.

Deflection alert!!!

🙄

Derpy derped…again…

😑

That video clip of AN ACTUAL ACT OF UNHINGED AGGRESSION BY A MAGAT REPUBLICAN SENATOR was a legitimate “refuttal” to the nonsense accusations about Senator Padilla "yelling and charging at Secretary Noem”.

It provided / provides an opportunity for people to compare & contrast the two events, and then let people judge for themselves which side is LYING & GASLIGHTING:

(THE MAGAt REPUBLICANS are CLEARLY the ones LYING & GASLIGHTING).

👎

Hope that ^ helps.

👍

👉 Derpy 🤣

We. Told. Them. So.

No. Truth stung you again. @Lazaran pointedly called you out on it.

Go ahead and use your words to compare and contrast what that link shows with the LA so-called 'threat' you seem to be defending.

You claim to be a defender of justice. But you attack justice in a wrongful defense.
