C G loft.

After all her washing and cleaning of the Chenoo Snork maiden told him to dress and be clean. He did as she bade him sitting sullen by the tidal pool.

The next day Snork maiden was gathering sticks. The Chenoo came to her .

“Give me the axe.”
Snork maiden did. And man has never seen such chopping the great trees fell left and right like summer saplings, boughs, hewed and split as if by an ocean gale.

Snork Cried Out “Noo, tabeagul boosoogul” ( My father there is enough.) he laid down the ax and walked back into the sea..

Each day a new meeting and each day the fierce Chenoo more human.

He dug Snork Maiden a spring by cracking a rock with his mighty fist. The spring was utkuboh ((cool water in summer), keesoobok (warm water in winter), and always sweet..

Muscles clams , crabs, lobsters all manner of food form the sea felt for Snork Maiden each day on the beach.

Finally A handsome young man lay dying on the beach He called to Snork Maiden.

“Fair maiden I fear I can come no more as the spirits call me beyond the setting sun”

Snork did not recognize him

There was a sadness in the young mans eyes as Snork shed a tear for the handsome stranger.

“Sweet maiden you have feared me these many months, You now cry for the Chenoo”

And so he went on to the land of the setting sun a monster killed not by fear and anger but cunning love.

Well that it Snork.

Sensing a sadness in his tale I snuggle close to CG.

That was so sad, CG, the poor Chenoo, I stroke his head gently, my poor Chenoo.

Nuzzling under his head we rock gently in the hammock and I slowly slip into a peaceful sleep.

Holding Snork close. I hum an old Celtic lullaby.

Shool, shool, shool, a ree, shool a rich shack , shool a bad a coo. When I saw my sally , baily biem, come hish a luring…..”

Snork’s breathing is deep and even her head nestled under my chin and I am content and at peace.

The Stars twinkle, and moon light creeps through the round window over looking the sea.. the sight that greets my eyes takes my breath away.

Snork her hair shines like spun honey, lips the blush of strawberries, her skin shimmers like silver in the muted light of the moon. So delicate so fragile in appearance I am almost afraid to touch her less she shatters at my touch.

Lips kiss Snork’s eye lids, the tip of her nose, cheeks , so light that they barely make contact. Now at her ear lobe. Tenderly, hesitantly it slips between parched lips, I nibble, Snork stirs, my breath warm and moist on her neck. , then they move on.

I tremble almost afraid now to break the magic of this moment I am poised a breath from Snork’s lips, my tongue glides across their silken surface so moist, so sweet. Again the taste of summer wine. Slowly I press mine to hers as my tongue humbly begs entrance again.

Stirring in my sleep I nuzzle against CG, and sigh softly. My eyes flutter open and I can see him poised to kiss me. Parting my lips slightly as his brush mine I allow him entrance, greeting him softly with the tip of my own tongue.

My free arm wraps around him as the hammock holds us together, I can feel him stirring again between my legs and his shaft re-enters e with out assistance; as if guided by a supernatural hand into the place where it belongs. Like the root of a sturdy Maple it grows inside me swelling and burrowing, anchoring him to me.

'Hmmmmmmmmmm CG', I murmur softly, 'keep me safe'

Like a man dying of thirst my kisses are short and brief as I sip and taste the sweetness of Snork. Not to much at once less I parish from that that gives life, pleasure.

My root sinks deep into the depth of Snork’s secret Garden. There to take root, to flourish, and grows nestled safe held snugly where it is rooted, to give joy to that hidden garden as it grows.

'Hmmmmmmmmmm CG', I murmur softly, 'keep me safe'

Snork is in the protective circle of my arms, close and snug like a ship in a sheltered cove. Safe from the storm raging beyond the entrance of the narrow channel. Safe in our cocoon of canvas.

“Snork I shall keep you safe for as long as you wish.”

We are one soon the dance will begin again. I will lead Snork from the hammock to the deck where I may give full range to the dance of love each step, each intricate pattern, till spent we rest in each other’s arms.

And so are time together was spent in making love and in being close and sharing.

We parted after that night and I will always remember the tender maid who came to me when I needed her.

C G's Loft
High up in the Inn above the guest and residents room lies the loft nestled under the eves of the roof. Strong oaken beams slant from the ridge to the floor.

There is a hammock slung by the round eve window that looks out over the Bay and Faith's lighthouse. A seaman’s bunk against one wall, a writing table of oak that was once down by the hearth. The pictures and small treasure of a life at sea, memories of all the places and people that have crossed his life's path. The desk holds but two pictures in an antique silver frame, on one side his Chris and on the other the ski area of Mt St-Anne.

All in all it is a simple room. Clean and shipshape in “Bristol Fashion”.

The table is set with white linen. Candles the only light, bone China, and Hungarian crystal for place settings.

walks in and looks around, releasing CG's arm to take a better look at the room. Hearing his question...

That would be wonderful, CG. This is really a great place you have here, love. i'm sorry I haven't seen it sooner.

Just a place to hang my hat is all T A now would you like red or white. Some thing sweet or a bit tart?

grins at CG mischeviously, sitting on the arm of a nearby chair, her left leg on the floor, her right one dangling there next to it

I think something sweet would be good for now, CG. Thanks.

I've missed you these past few months. I'm sorry I wasn't around more often. I needed to be for my sanity, but never could find the time.

I pour a glass of mead wine from my home up in Quebec mead wine made from blueberry honey it is sweet and nutty smooth on the pallet heady to the sense,

T A I know how that can be The China Pearl was that kind of place for me, a safe Harbor where I could escape the cares of the R W.

I hand T A a glass of wine

Umm you do know sitting like that shows me quite a bit of a very pretty and shapely leg T A?

There is a twinkle in my eyes and an Impish smile on my face.

laughs quietly taking the glass and drinking from it slowly, the taste very good indeed

Well, you know, I told you I had something new I wanted to show you... I thought you'd like it...

reaches out and brushes a hand gently down the side of CG's face Been wanting to do that all day... smiles softly

As T A brushes her hand down the side of my face I smile my rough calloused worn hand on her small smooth hand. I hold it there on my cheek for a moment then turning it I kiss her soft open palm

So have I T A

Aummm.......yes Dinner I did promise to feed you. Shall we start with a little Calamari or would you prefer an antipasto?

smiles softly feeling CG's hand cover min

Calamari sounds wonderful. I haven't had that in a long time.

slides from the arm of the chair, pushing the skirt down, straightening it out a little

Where would you like us to sit?

Pulling out a chair at the small little dinner table I hold it for T A as she sit I slide it in. The candle light cast a golden glow on T A’s face my hand lightly brushes her hair as I go to the little pot bellied stove in the corner and serve up to portions of Calamari. Placing one in front of T A I take my seat opposite her. The setting is cozy and the company delightful.

So tell me all that you have been up to dear.

smiles softly watching him serve up the food and place a plate in front of her. She looks over at him as he sits across from her

Well, just life in general. I have a new job, trying to start a new life... just, all around... trying to get a new handle on everything so to speak. I've missed being around here, though. It's a stress reliever to be sure. I'm glad you were free tonight to have dinner with me. I"ve really missed you.

picks up a fork and moves it onto the plate

My folk poised halfway between the plate and my mouth. I blush at the admission.

Funny in all the time we have been at Lit we seem to be ships passing in the night.

I would not have missed this dinner for anything Angel.

smiles softly and lifts the fork to her mouth, eating from it slowly then sets it down again slowly

This is wonderful, CG. I didn't know you were such a good cook, love. Yes, you're right.. two ships passing indeed. I'm glad you decided to take me up on the offer. It's been far to long since I've had the pleasurable company of such a good looking host...

Blushing deeply

Young lady you keep that up and I’ll be putty in your hands.

Always loved cooking one of my …..shall we say hidden talents. The mussels are fresh picked them this morning, a light clam sauce with a touch of butter, garlic, shallots, and some of this and that. When you are ready I’ll put the pasta on . You have a choice this evening , fettuccini, angle hair. or spaghetti.

A little more wine?

You said you had a new job?

Takes another bite from her plate and smiles softly*

Puddy in my hands, huh? *chuckles* That'll be the day, CG, love. You're quite the strong one from what I understand.

I love angel hair pasta if that's all right with you since you're cooking.

More wine would be great, please.

Yes, a new job working with a property management company. It will be a great career. I'm really looking forward to it indeed.

Smiles softly and leans back in the chair, crossing one leg over the other, watching CG intently

So tell me what you've been up to in my absence...

I pour T A more wine and refill my glass. The water is all ready at the boil in goes the Angel Hair Pasta I give the simmering muscles a stir.

Well getting in trouble here and there at Lit, seems I am a lightening rod at times. In the R W been working with school kids doing 18th century living history. French & Indian Wars, Have a small tour of New England coming up in July.

Keeping busy. My next court date is in August. I make a sour Face.

The Angel Hair is done and I serve up two generous portions and set one in front of T A

smiles softly looking at the pasta then back over at CG

Sounds like you're keeping busy indeed. Oh before I forget...
Stands and walks over to him, leaning over him from behind and kissing him softly on the cheek, wrapping my arms around his neck, hands resting on his chest

Thank you, love... this is wonderful... it's the first time in a long while that I've been happy like this.
