But A_J, we're not Socialists...

You vaunted market run-up (yes, now the market is an economic indicator... ;) ;) ) is due to Fed inflation and those closest to it, the Fat Cats on Wall Street are the ones benefitting from it and if we had real actual growth and spending, then we would be experiencing the type of inflation that wipes out the average person trying to establish a retirement.

But....but AJ! Just last July you were lecturing us how the stock market was a TRAILING indicator of economic activity.

If that's the case, unless you were lying back then, then we've already experienced "Fed inflation" and that's what's caused the market gains.

So please, by all means, point the uneducated masses towards documentation of this massive inflation that must have occured last year....I must've missed it in all the election whargarble.

Good morning man-boobs.

Out to prove me right again about the HATE Socialists have for their "ENEMIES?"

lol

Good morning to you, AJ.

I wouldn't know about "Socialist Hate", unlike you, I've never been one.

But then, there aren't many political philosophies you haven't embraced at one time or another during your life.

"...any way the wind blows....doesn't really matter...to meeeeeeeeee, to me.."

It was only a matter of time until you went into full melt down.

Did the Obama " permanent tax cuts" in fact raise all of our taxes?

No. To the contrary, President Obama's permanent tax cuts locked in the Bush tax cut rates for everyone making less than $450K.

Of course, people like you won't acknowledge that fact.

You're on ignore too zipperhead.

I put all the dedicated Marxists on ignore.

Marxist is just another term that you don't know the meaning of.

You put anyone who makes you look stupid on regular basis on ignore.

Don't worry, I'll still pop in and make fun of your stupidity. :D

… an immense tutelary power is elevated, which alone takes charge of assuring their enjoyments and watching over their fate. It is absolute, detailed, rigid, far-seeing and mild. It would resemble paternal power if, like that, it had for its object to prepare men for manhood; but on the contrary, it seeks only to keep them fixed irrevocably in childhood; it likes citizens to enjoy themselves. It willingly works for their happiness; but it wants to be the unique agent and sole arbiter of that.
Thus, taking each individual by turns in its powerful hands and kneading him as it likes, the sovereign extends its arms over society as a whole; it covers its surface with a network of small, complicated, painstaking, uniform rules through which the most original minds and the most vigorous souls cannot clear a way to surpass the crowd; it does not break wills, but it softens them, bends them and directs them; it rarely forces one to act, but it constantly opposes itself to one’s acting; it does not destroy, it prevents things from being born; it does not tyrannize, it hinders, compromises, enervates, extinguishes, dazes and finally reduces each nation to being nothing more than a herd of timid and industrial animals of which the government is the shepherd.

Alexis de Tocqueville, Democracy in America

Well, the plan may have a few bugs, but Liberals demand to be judged on intention, not outcome...
Otherwise, they'd always be judged harshly and they're such well-intentioned, loving, caring, nurturing, compassionate people who only want to run your life so that you can enjoy it more, like they do, happy little moral busybodies who do not want your religion forced upon them....

A_J, the Stupid

He knows he's on IGNORE!
Over in the other thread, merc just defined Social Justice, and it was Capitalism, the first true Liberalism, so he really does not understand how he uses Social Justice as a Progressive ideal. Makes me wonder if that compartmentalization is the same vehicle by which he cannot recognize Socialism.

What a maroon...

You don't read my posts because you have me on iggy then turn around and discuss what I'm posting?

And everything you just said is completely wrong. Social Justice is neither liberal nor conservative.

Ah yes, the last refuge of the true coward, sniping from the safety of the ignore list.

One would think an ex-marine and martial arts master, not to mention philosopher and student of history wouldn't need to ignore someone they disagree with, they would just refute their points.

It's all good, AJ, it's all good. :D

And the July before that he lectured us on how all out 401(k)s would be worthless right now. The coward still won't admit he was wrong though because he has us (allegedly) on iggy and never has to see his predictions followed up on. He never has to respond because, well how can the poor guy ever know there's been some follow-up on his Doom and Gloom predictions?

That's right AJ, you're winning teh war on ideas here.

One ignored poster at a time.
