it might work...but then it might just irritate my skin...

oddly enough i can use it on my legs just fine....but its my more tender flesh that can't handle the stress....:(

Alovera (sp??) I have a nice patch in my front yard :) I'd suggest fresh if you can find it, or at least a pure gel.

The first step in treating a chemical burn is to neutralize the chemical -- check the label warnings to see if there is some specific counter-agent recommended.

Check the active ingredients list -- I believe that lye is one of them. If lye is on the list, then a mild acid like vinegar or lemon juice will stop any further damage.

Once you've neutralized the magic, then a topical anesthetic like Solarcaine, Orajel, or Lanocine spray will kill the pain.

Neosporin Pain Relief will not only kill the pain, but promote healing and prevent infection.

Weird Harold...

Are you really an Encyclopedia?

Nope, just old and well-read.

I learned about counteracting chemicl burns by reading the warning label on crystal Drano when I was about eight and my younger brother decided it looked good to eat. I've paid close attention to warning labels ever since.

heheh.....it hurt so much ...i shutter to think what might have happened if i did the WHOLE thing!

I'm curious, was your skin there at all wet or damp? The only time i've had any reaction to Magic, my skin was damp or i used a damp washcloth to remove it. Magic and water do NOT mix well.

well then how did you remove it?!?!

i think i might have rubbed a bit hard? or maybe the rag has soap on it?

*is Magically Challenged*

I totally agree, dry and also not tampered with recently.:)

A rubbermaid spatula...... they're 3 for a dollar at the dollar store, i use white handled ones in the kitchen so i bought a blue handled set for magic removal. After i've scraped it all off, then i rinse with clear cool water.

The spatula is much softer than a washcloth, you really don't have to rub hard at all.

I hope you feel better soon.

First time I tried it.. I did the test patch on my upper inner thigh. Followed directions to a tee.. and it burned me. No water before.. and I used a spatula.

Second time I tried it....someone told me to remove it in the shower with a wash cloth, rather than using the spatula. It was fine.. until I got out of the shower. Then it burned like hell.

Third attempt.. I slathered it on and did the spatula thing. Waited about 20 minutes and climbed into a cool shower. Let it rinse off and didn't use any soap or a wash cloth on that area. It worked wonders. I was so smooth.

About a week later.. I tried again. Same as I had the last time. Burned me in one small spot.. where my leg and my crotch meet.

I haven't tried it again. I'm glad it works for some. I wish it did for me.

I shave now.. but not all. Just some.

this burned on the top sort of area..of my um pussy....where my belly meets my pussy....and it was THAT spot...that burned!!

the rest was so smooth...(just a small area)

its not easy being a plus sized girl and um...reaching...down there...lol i did this infront of the mirror...then ran to the shower...

Now it makes sense to me, i'm a plus-sized girl, too. I'd bet that your skin in that area might have been slightly damp from perspiration. Any where you have skin creases there's the chance for perspiration and one of the warnings is not to use the Magic is you've been perspiring heavily. Their definition of heavily seems to be any at all.

Freaky, i haven't been burned yet, but a couple of time it's been tender in that leg/crotch area. I think it's the perspiration there, too. My new Magic theory is to shower first, wait an hour or so and make sure my skin is completely dry then use the Magic. It results in two showers for me that evening, but it's worth it.
