The First is as old as time itself. The Nosferatu is just the beginning of the demons The First plans to raise for his army. The creepy guys are worshippers of The First, they do the things The First cannot do... IE the physical things. The guys who were after the Key are completely apart from these hooded men. Spike's roll for tonight was to get rid of Andrew before he could spill his guts about the rituals the First performed later. The reason he used Spike was said... As punishment and because the First needed blood to open the gate(Hellmouth) and let the true Vamp out. And no it wasn't part of the deal (as far as I know). The First just saw someone it could use and used Spike.

I'm still pretty confused as to what the "First" actually is. It wasnt that vampire thingy, it isnt that shape changer...I keep thinking that by "the first" it means like the Devil, or like the essence of the first evil deed or something, i dunno, it still fucks with my head. And i cant wait for Faith to come back, i'm so in love with Eliza.

As to what the First really is, well I'll leave that to Rasta to say because I am not sure I am completely right about what it is.

There's just 1 thing w/ last night's show that I don't understand. When Jonathon was killed, the whole pentacle was flooded w/ blood. Then, last night, Andrew was trying to get a large amount of blood at the butcher shop. It just took a few drops of Spike's blood to activate it. Other than Spike being a vamp, and having fed on others lately, not sure why Jonathon's blood didn't work. (yes, I did see where morphy changed from warren to jonathon, and was saying about, "I'm smaller then most, so I have less blood".) Still, only a few drops of Spike's was needed. (maybe I'm just tired this wk, lol)

Maybe Spike's worked so well was because of a higher number of blood cells inside it. More platelets, red and white blood cells, stuff like that. It probaly also helped that his blood had a demon presence in it, making it more powerful.
Of course maybe the First just over-estimated how much blood it would need to finish the ritual.

13 hours of Buffy
This is greatness!
They played the one where everyone gets their Halloween costumes from Ethans store and evryone turned into the persona of the costume they wore.
I just watched Becoming pt 1 and they are playing Becoming pt 2 right now. I remember how much I cried the 1st time I saw this episode. I'm such a sucker that I'll probably cry again. I always get sad when they play the Angel and Buffy theme. Does anyone know what the name of the song is?
I laughed my ass of when Spike was in the wheelchair taunting Angel in a sing song voice, "Someone wasnt worthy."
Hehe, good times. Gotta get back to the Buffython. I'm so excited.
Next at 3pm central/4pm eastern they are playing "The Wish" (the 1st episode that Anya is in) and then at 4pm CST/5pm EST , "Doppelgangers" (the one where Willow and Xander are Vamps). I never got to see these, so I'm exited. I think i might be a dork. lol

This Buffy (Doppelgangers) is my favorite out of all time.
ok, so i did cry...like a chump. By anyways, "The Wish" was a great episode. It was kind of weird watching everyone but Giles and Oz die though. I miss Oz.
