Buffy: Countdown to the Apocalypse

Damn with the upcoming wedding I'm totally broke so brides are out for me. The only season I missed was the one with Buffy's mom dying, I think it was 5? I really hate that I can't figure it out but I'm about at the point where I'd be fine with not figuring it out.

c'mon Rasta. I'm going out of my mind here! please, dont make me get on my knees:(

I actually have to watch this past week's over again. It was just that good.

Ok, so someone bring up a Buffy topic not related to this year's Buffy+Angel's Big Bad. Cause yeah, same guy.

Anyone?

Hmm, what can I bribe you with Mr. Rasta... lol

Anything in particular that would tickle your fancy? :)

Ok something off the big bad topic... In the back of my mind I'd always wondered why they kept switching Spike's hair from straight and curly. My theory is that they were trying to make some unspoken distinction between the two.

Did that make any sense to anyone??? Maybe I need to go get some sleep.

What the fuck happened to Giles? That's all I want to know.

God, that man is sexy.........

Just the perils of trying to keep the same hair from week to week. Whedonverse vamps's hair grows and responds to bleach just like a normal humans. I'd imagine it heals faster but grows somewhat slower. Just a guess.

K, then just do it out of the goodness of your heart...

TELLL USSSSSS PLLLLLLLLLLLEAAAAASE!!!!!!!

I have a question. What's the difference between someone who works for the Watchers Council, and a Watcher?

There are a few different levels to the Watchers Council. There's the Board, which presides over all. Actual Watchers, who's job it is to wrangle and train Slayers In Training. THE Watcher, in our case, Giles. Then there are operatives. Seers, warlocks and witches, wetworks, etc. Just about every head of government in the world and many lower level officials are aware of the Watcher's Council and lend their cooperation, even in times of war. England fought side by side with Germany back during WW2, in the war against the darkness.

Thanks Rasta. So from this I'm assuming that the new principle is an operative... And assuming that that is correct, should we expect to see more of these good guys (??) showing up in Sunnydale as events come to a head?

As far as I know, Principal Wood is an operative in some manner, yes.

And yes.

The Biggest Bad is here. Everyone else will follow.

The hooved guy on Angel last week, the lowliest herald.

Well I mean when will he be revealed so a layman like myself will know... Like when will the guy be revealed to the Scooby's so they know who it is?

Sooner than soon. I'm pretty sure there's like 2 new episodes from Buffy and 1 more of Angel coming before the end of the year.
